^^Adventures in Babysitting is a great movie top notch I recommend 👌
(I think Disney channel or something did a remake of it and I'm pissed)

I noticed (fucking grammar nazis in the comments, my phone told me I spelled it right) minor spelling errors in the last chapter and yeah I'm fuckin' lazy I had to write that shit and I ain't writing it again

Also sorry for painfully slow updates, I'll try to do the next one faster, can't promise anything but I'll try. I split this chapter into two parts so you guys can get a taste of it and not have to wait longer.
Anyways have fun with this one :)

Frank knocked on the front door before it was immediately answered by a tired-looking Mikey. "Hey Mikes... You okay..?" "Oh, yeah... Gerard's just been kind of a pain all day..." The younger boy sighed. "He's interrupting me getting work done and he's not that excited about having to stay home alone with you..."

Frank was about to speak before Gerard came running downstairs in a similar outfit to the day before, holding an iPad in a pink case. "Mikeeeey! I want to listen to music!" Gerard insisted as he shoved the device into his brother's hands. "Gerard, I told you, you tap this one, okay?" Mikey instructed as he opened the application. "Okay, thank you, bye!" Gerard smiled to himself as he ran back upstairs, the whole time not noticing Frank's presence.

"What kinda music is he into?" Frank asked, hoping to take Mikey's mind off his current stress. "Eh, he likes any Disney music, and a weird variety of not very well known artists." Mikey shrugged. "Cool... So, um, whenever you're ready to go, I can watch Gerard for you-" "Oh yeah, I gotta go get ready!" Mikey remembered suddenly as he scurried into his own room.

Frank stood for a moment before walking over to the couch and taking a seat. He looked down at the coffee table, on it a box of crayons and paper, some with drawings on them. Frank studied the one drawing of a rose, that he could assume was Gerard's. He had an interesting style, slightly messy but also elegant. Perhaps the sketchiness of it is what added its charm.

As he heard faint footsteps, Frank looked up the stairs to see the young pale boy standing on the staircase, both his hands on the railing as he blushed looking at the older boy. "Hi Gerard..." Frank faintly smiled. "Hi Frank... Why you at my house? It's dark out." Gerard asked as he stepped downstairs, sitting himself on the couch with a distance from Frank. "Your brother told you, I have to watch you for tonight." Frank reminded. "No thank you."

"I think I'm gonna have to stay anyways," Frank remarked. "But I don't like you very much today." Gerard replied casually. "You don't?" "Nu-uh."

"Why's that?"
"Cause... Cause you're still a kind of stranger."
"Then what should I do to not be a stranger?"
"Uh... Be a nice person..."
"I think I can do that."

"Okay," Gerard's mind wandered as he got up and went into the kitchen. "Where are you going?" Frank asked. "I'm getting milks," The younger boy responded as he got on his tip toes to open a cabinet, even though it wasn't necessary. Frank watched from his seat on the couch as Gerard grabbed himself a sippy cup and poured himself milk from the fridge. Mikey taught him how to do it without making a mess. He wasn't very good at it when it was full though, he said it was too heavy and he only did it when it was near empty.

After putting the milk away, Gerard plopped himself on the couch and fumbled with the buttons on the tv remote before successfully turning it on. At first Gerard was trying to figure out what channel Blues Clues was on, if it was still on, but instead was content just watching SpongeBob when that came on the screen.

"Hey Gee, I'm going now." Mikey announced as he made his way to the door. "Nooo, Mikey!" Gerard squealed as he got up, running over to his brother. "It's okay, Frank's gonna be here with you." Mikey reassured as he kissed Gerard's head. "But what if he's a killer and makes me dead!" Gerard shrieked. "Don't worry... Frank's too short for that." "Hey!"

"Short person!" Gerard giggled, even though he wasn't much taller than Frank. Frank rolled his eyes as he sank back into the couch. "You better be paying me for this."

"Can you buy me cupcakes?" Gerard asked suddenly, both boys unsure how that thought came to his head. "We have enough junk food already..." Mikey sighed. "Also it will attract wild Rays." Frank added. "Where is Ray anyways?" Mikey asked. "Vacation, he's coming back in the fall." Frank replied. Gerard just stood there. "What's a Ray?"

"I'll see you in a little bit Gee, okay?" Mikey said as he opened the front door. "Okay..." Gerard pouted. Mikey kissed his head before leaving, and Gerard sat himself on the couch again, sipping his milk.

"Frank."
"Yeah?"
"You're a shorty short face."
"You're a butt face."
"Ew!"

Frank smirked as the younger boy looked at him with disgust before taking a sip of his milk, and his expression quickly changing back to normal. Frank thought he looked kind of cute when he was pouty.

Gerard looked back over at Frank, suddenly gasping and covering his mouth with his hands. "What is it?" Frank asked confused. "You have a staple in your face!" Gerard shrieked. "No, that's a piercing," Frank chuckled. "I wanted it there." "Why? Does it hurt?" Gerard asked. "No, it doesn't hurt anymore. It hurt when I first got it, but, not since then."

"And you have drawings on you," Gerard pointed out. "Mhm, those are my tattoos." Frank nodded. "I want one." Gerard said suddenly. "Oh yeah?" "Mhm. How you get them?" "It's basically injecting ink into your skin with a needle." Frank shrugged. "I hate needles!" Gerard squealed. "Oh, well you can always get a temporary tattoo." Frank added. "No needles?" "No needles."

"I want one then please," Gerard insisted. "Well you have to buy those, but, um... We could just use marker or something." Frank went on. "Can you do it for me?" Gerard asked hopefully. "You want me to draw it on you?" "Yes."

Frank smiled. "Alright, what do you want me to draw then?" "A flower!" Gerard smiled as he got up, grabbing Frank's hand. "Come, I have markers in my room." He insisted as he lead Frank upstairs.

Gerard sat up on his bed, turning the music on shuffle on his iPad, and the device began playing 2003 by Nina Gordon. Gerard hummed along to the vocals as he placed his box of markers onto the bed, looking through them for the colors he wanted. He grabbed only shades of pink.

"Use these ones, okay?" Gerard instructed as Frank sat on the bed next to him. "Alright," Frank nodded. Gerard watched as Frank began drawing on his hand. Frank knew his artwork wasn't that good, but Gerard seemed to love it.

"Do you draw lots?" Gerard asked. "Not really," Frank shrugged. "I like drawing." "Your drawings are very nice." Frank encouraged. "They should be in a mooseem!" Gerard smiled. Frank chuckled. "A museum?" "Yes!"

"Alright, how does that look?" Frank asked as he finished the simple drawing. "It's really pretty!" Gerard beamed. Frank smiled. "I'm glad you like it."

"I'm hungry, can we have a pizza?" Gerard asked suddenly. "Oh yeah, sure, I'll order us one." Frank said as he got up. Gerard got up as well, leading Frank by the hand downstairs. Gerard also brought his tablet with him.

Frank placed the order quickly and sat on the couch and began to text Mikey, letting him know they were having pizza. "What you doing?" Gerard asked as he looked over Frank's shoulder. "Texting your brother." Frank replied. "I can send message to him too, on my iPad." Gerard beamed. "Really? That's very cool." Frank encouraged, making Gerard smile.

"Can I message you on my iPad?" Gerard asked. "You want to?" "Yes. So I can ask you to come over more." Gerard replied. "You like when I come over?" Frank smiled. "Yeah, cause you're a good friend." Gerard smiled. Frank felt an attachment starting to grow to the younger boy.

"Alright, lemme see that," Frank said as he put his phone number into Gerard's iPad. Gerard smiled as he began to text Frank, even though the two were sitting next to each other. Texting made Gerard feel like a big boy.

Frank chuckled to get Gerard's message, seeing Gerard had only sent him gibberish. Gerard giggled. "Are you only gonna send me silly things?" Frank smiled, making Gerard giggle again. "You're such a silly boy," Frank teased, making Gerard's cheek tint a slight pink before smiling. He liked when Frank talked to him like that.

Even though Gerard wasn't entirely realizing it yet, he was growing quite an attachment to the older boy. But he didn't need to realize it just yet, all he needed to know was he liked Frank. A lot.
