Chapter 2 Mission: Restore Memories Pronto

"so, wait, where the heck are we, and what am I doing here?" I asked. Wix stopped and looked at me and said "Jake, I don't feel like explaining a second time on what your purpose is here, and so I've decided I'm going to take you to someone I know who can help restore your memories." I didn't think much about then, but I kind of guessed she had an understanding of what was going to come very soon. I felt like I could trust the faerie in front of me leading the way and so I did follow her to wherever it was she was taking me. "so, where are we going?" I asked. Wix stopped and whistled with her fingers in her mouth and suddenly I confronted by a bunch of soldiers in green camo with one of them in blue camo making a signal to stand down. "hey, Jake, although I doubt you remember me. anyway I sure she would like see you again, although it will be hard for her." the girl in blue camo said. "who's she?" I asked. WIx turned to face me and said "don't worry for now." then she turned to the girl in blue and said "we need to restore his memories, any ideas?" "I have one, but it's dangerous. have you told him anything yet?" I was confused by what they were saying and was about to ask what they meant, but before I could Wix answered quickly with "no." the girl didn't flinch and said "figured, all right, I teleport him to her, and see if she'll help him." I stepped back for a moment causing everyone to raise their guns pointing at me. "whoa, what do you mean teleport?" I asked. "and also, how did the tiny fairy girl take me here?" Wix made a hmph noise and turned her head away with her arms crossed. the girl in camo sighed and said "Wix can go back and forth between this planet and the other one, since she's a faerie, also you'll know about all your questions when your memories are back." I calmed down a bit took a deep breath and said "ok, let's do it I guess." the girl seemed to disappear quickly and then I was suddenly somewhere else. a giant clean white room with a giant telescope thing looking up at the sky. "an observatory?" I asked. "yeah, she's fixated with the stars, but don't worry she'll know how to restore your memories." the girl in blue camo said. "ok." told her.

we waited awhile before a girl in a lab coat seemed to appear and said "I know why you're here, and I can help him, but..." I looked at her confused and asked "what do you want?" the girl seemed shocked I asked something and said "not talking to you, I'm talking to her." I looked at the camo girl and she looked a little ashamed. "I'll tell you, just fix him, please? we need his help." the girl in the lab coat sighed and said "alright, just come here." I walked over and realized she had dirty brown hair curled up into some sort of pony tail bun and green eyes. she also wore glasses. "now let me touch your forehead, so I can look into your mind." I stepped and said "whoa, no one gets into here." I pointed to my forehead. "now don't be like that, I've seen some pretty nasty minds." she said. I hesitantly went through with it and let her touch my forehead, and suddenly I fell unconscious. by time I woke the girl in the lab coat was on her knees sobbing about something, "A monster." she whispered. "I saw...two beasts fighting in his head. so...horrible....such....darkness." the girl said. "what's her problem?" I asked. the girl in camo looked at me and said "she saw your mind and memories it seems. she says something is blocking them from being released, something as powerful as one himself." I looked at her blankly and said "one?" "don't worry about it, she says all you need to do is recreate a powerful moment from when you were here last, but I can't think of anything, since I had barely known you last time. maybe Maya can help." the girl said. before we took off to see this Maya person I asked the girl in camo who she and the lab coat girl were and their names. "my name's classified, but you can call me Chief. as for her...well she's....Ms. Augustine. a phycologist and astronomer. "oh. ok." I said not getting an answer of who Chief was. "alright, off to the floating kingdom." Chief said. "wait, what?" I asked and before I could get an answer we were already gone.
