Chapter~5

Menma vs kabuto

The two contestants got down to the stage and both settled into their respective taijutsu stances. The proctor yelled "fight" and the two genins ran at each other.

They both met in the middle of the stage and after a few clashes, kabuto landed a kick on Menma's chest making the dark haired kid roll on the floor before hitting the wall.

Menma got up angrily and pulled out two tri-pronged kunais and charged once more for the bluenette. He threw one of the kunais at kabuto's head and the other at his feet making the bluenette jump back dodging the second kunai and catching the first one ignorant of the jinchuriki's plan. Menma smirked as he saw the four-eyed boy holding the kunai and in flash he disappeared from where he was and in another flash was right in front of his opponent delivering an upper cut to the still-astonished gennin making him tumble off his feet.

The crowd's jaws were on the floor at the technique Menma had used knowing that the technique was his father's famous "hiarashin" ( did I spell that right?). Menma performed a back-flip and landed beside the second kunai just as kabuto landed on the floor. The dark-haired kid then proceeded to gather chakra in his hand shocking the crowd once again and he ran at kabuto who was still recovering.

Kabuto saw his opponent coming just in time for him to use kwarimi to escape the ball of chakra he was being attacked with. Menma slammed the "rasengan" in "kabuto" only to have him turned to a log. " It seems I have underestimated him but no more". Kabuto thought as he started gathering his chakra, turning it to a form of scalpel in his palms.

Menma fell to his knees as she felt pain coming from back, turning his head he saw kabuto getting ready for another strike but he couldn't dodge fast enough resulting to him getting a hand through his shoulder triggering a transformation into the tailed beast mode quickly growing two tail. Kabuto was too shocked by the thing in front of him to think of jumping back to escape the monster's hand that was about to impale him. He started sweating as he saw the hand coming towards him slowl before his vision blurred and he passed out.

Naruto saw as Menma beat down the everybody who tried to control him and his mother no where to be found, before he could stop and think he took of at blurring speeds to the now transformed Menma. Menma saw his twin coming and he raised a claw to strike him down but before he knew it, the blonde disappeared. He turned his head in search of his brother spotting him behind, he tried to attack but he was losing consciousness as his brother had attacked a pressure point first. He roared and tried to get back up but it was like he couldn't control his own body finally giving in to the darkness.

"You brat!!" was what Naruto was received as a welcome as soon as he stepped foot in his house "what did you think you were doing knocking Menma out like that making me look like a mother who can't keep her son in control" kushina said angrily. Naruto was shocked for a minute, his mother had never shown this kind of worry over him and all he could manage to get out was "k-k-kaa-san" feeling tears well up in his eyes but he was jolted to reality as his mother's palm stung his face.

Kushina slapped her son saying " it was all your fault, if you hadn't been born minato will still be alive but now my son will be seen as a monster by the villagers. I just wish you were never.. " she was cut off by Naruto's voice that said "born?" with a scoff accompanying the voice. Before she could think of hitting him again the door slammed shut signifying his exit out of the house.

Naruto was walking down the streets of konoha his hood was covering his face, his head hung low, tears flowing freely and his fists clenched. He was going to go to the head of the yondaime before he was stopped by four figures in his paths * I'm just gonna skip this part but I'll tell you that it is related to sasuke's experience in the original anime except it was not sakura who found him it was sasuke who was out for breeze after another argument with his dad, he was knocked out and naruto escaped
P.s I'm not skipping it because I'm lazy but because I suck at convos*

A/N: I'm sorry this chapter is shortish but I'm really out of ideas just thought up a few things and I feel bad for not updating all this while. I should hate another chapter up in a few days I dunno. Anyways comment vote gimme ideas and pairings but not naruxhina I'm kinda tired of it sorry but I don't do get as well sorry again anyways
