Grayson's POV

A few weeks later.

I am sitting on the couch when Alissa comes in, doing lunges.

"Alissa" I said chuckling at her and she looks over at me.

"Yes?" I asked.

"Are you working out?" I asked her.

"Yeah remember I am getting fatter"She said and I roll my eyes.

"No, your not."I said standing up.

"Do you want a workout buddy?" I asked her and she nods.

"Do you want to go to the gym?" I asked her and she quickly started shaking her head no.

"I am not confident enough to go to the gym" She said.

"Alright come on." I said grabbing her hand.

"Where are we going?" She asked me.

"To my parents house. They have work out stuff and its more private" I said and she nods.

We get into my car and I drive us to my old house.

I pull up and we walk inside..

"Oh. Hey Grayson. Hey Alissa!" Mom says happily as she hugs both of us with big smiles..

"Hey" We both said smiling back.

"What are y'all doing here?" She asked us as we started walking towards the basement.

"We came to work out.. If that is alright?" I said and she nods.

"Of course, go ahead. I am cooking dinner right now so if you want to stay for it, you're welcome to"She tells us and we both nod, opening the basement door and making our way down the stairs.

"You wanna stay for dinner?" I asked her.

"Sure" She said shrugging, making me smile.

We start working out, me trying to keep her motivated everytime she wanted to give up.

"Grayson. I can't do anymore" She whines on her 45th sit up.

"Come on. Five more then we will move to the next work out." I said squatting down in front of her.

She groans and slowly does four more.

"Come on Alissa. You can do it. You can do it." I cheered her on her last sit up before she fell backwards onto her back, groaning.

"WhoOOOHOOOO" I cheered clapping for her

She rolls her eyes and sat up, taking a drink of her water.

"How did you do yours fast enough to have time to force me to continue?" She asked me as I helped her stand up.

"I'm used to doing them" I remind her and she nods.
