exhausted from surviving in this wasteland
Exhaustion spread out into months of desperation.
I wasted time I was not even aware I had,
on bones that I knew would never be mine.
Just another care to put on my shelf.
Just another almost that never surpassed.
When I wait on teeth and bone for you,
pleading and begging you'll wait for me.
You turn and shrug, "I never asked you to.

What book/movie character do you relate to the most?
𐎀 Definitely Nadine from The Edge Of Seventeen. Not only does Hailee Steinfeld play her in the movie, I also really relate to how she expresses her emotions & how lonely she feels throughout the movie. She's realistically lost & I love that representation. 10/10 movie, yes.
