Jen is waiting for me outside.

"Ada!" She approaches me with a quick hug and takes my hand.
"Hi!" I respond, cheerful.
"Your fursuit came!" She says, grinning.
I roll my eyes playfully. Her house isn't too close from school, and I can see a package on the front step.
"Oh, Jen, you didn't have to.." I start, but she silences me with a brief wave of her hand.
"It's your birthday present. What else can you ask for?" She smiles innocently. I can't help but laughing at her impression of me.
