Basketball Showdown

Marco POV

I was in gym when I spotted Star staring at me sadly and Jackie staring at me angerly. I sigh Great! Now I need a new apolog- then the whistle of the coach came screaming in my ear "Hey students! Coach John is here, I will be your gym teacher for this year and let's start our first class with basketball!" said coach as taking the ball. "Okay now I am going to choose the captions..." he squeezed his eyes at the names list "Diaz and...Butterfly?" ironic huh? me and Star started to choose the students in our team, of course she had Jackie in her team. "Hey, and one last thing, winner got to see the nation basketball team as a welcoming prize, got it?" "Yes coach John"  you don't really know what you can find in these filthy halls, that's what made every one want to win badly, especially me because there was no way that I am going to clean the halls! The game starts and Star's team got the ball.

Star had came to our basket but I blocked her, she tried to reach it, but I defended her every time, then except the not excepted...she used me as a ladder and climbed on me and made a basket. Dang it! That was too fast! 0-1 She gave her teammates a high five and continued the game. After few passes I got to Star's team basket but Jackie defended me. I tried to get there but no use then I spot one of our teammates "Catch!" I said and he got the ball but Star took it. "Are you blind or what?!" "S-S-Sor-ry I-" "Tsh...You better try to make a basket or...*crack*" "Okay!" What a wimp. I managed to make a basket but didn't bother to give my teammates a high five. The game started to get hard, we couldn't get that much near from their basket neither them. I made another basket and it was 2-1 but they even managed to make a basket so it was a tie.

Star POV

56-17 you might think that we lost but no! We won! How? The gameboard couldn't show three digit number which means that the final score is 56-117! We were really good players, and Marco team was a really tough team but we managed to score 117! I gave all my teammates a high-five. I looked to see that Marco's team was sweating like crazy and Marco was putting his hands on his knees and breathing heavily. I took a water bottle and walked towards Marco, everyone was staring at me like I was insane but I didn't care. That's ​what's called sport spirit. When I got to Marco he was still putting his hands on his knees and trying to catch up his breath. I gave him the bottle and he took it fast and drink it all, he was pretty tired. He glared at me then walked away towards the washroom. I think that he didn't loved the idea of cleaning the halls but aren't those the rules? I cleaned myself, worn my clothes and got to my next class.

Marco POV

I walked out of the school slowly as staring at the floor shamefully, losing I hate this word! Now we have to clean the halls while Star's team have their damn trip to see the nation basketball team! Ugh!...I walked to my house as thinking of a way to get "cleaning the halls" out of my schedule. After I came in with few minutes Star came in skipping and smiling widely from ear to ear. She was pretty happy with that field trip and that A+. Us? We got a C! As I walked towards my room I spotted Star's room opened. I took a sneak peek of it and...Goodness! It looked like a room in a castle! When did she do this? I heared footsteps coming, I rushed to my room and closed the door shut. I took out my clothes, took a shower and worn my favourite clothes.

Star POV

I was really happy that I was going to see Earth's basketball team that I was not acting normal! Okay, Star contain yourself. I got to my room and took out my clothes, took a shower and worn my favourite pyjamas. I brushed my blonde hair and putted it in a ponytail and took a small nap. I started dreaming about that trip and meeting the Earth's basketball team while taking autographs and pictures with them. I waked up on a several knocks on my door, "Dinner is ready" said a sleepy voice of Marco. I think he took a small nap too. Well, that was a good energy re-fresh.

FYI: Marco and Star shouldn't meet again in the gym. It was just an friendly match.
