Joe's POV
"Our Target will be somewhere around here." Tom said. I nodded and decided to split the gang.
"You guys secure every exit while you four go to that side while me and the other three will go through this side. Is the instructions clear?" I asked. They all nodded and we split into 3.
Suddenly, my eyes landed on a beautiful young woman laughing along her friends. Only thing in my mind was how to approach her.
"Joe, we can check out girls later. We have to find him first." Alex said making me nod.
"Okay." I said before trying to find our target.
"There he is. Split up so he won't be able to escape easily." I said.
I informed the others who went the other way and send them to the exits.
He finally got caught and we took him to the van.
She passed by the van again and I was more than mesmerized by her beauty.
"After we finish with him, let me know about that girl's details." I said to Tom. He nodded before I started the van and went to our secret hideout.
*A few weeks later*
I'm not going to let her slip away again this time. I thought to myself before I made my way to Y/N.
"Hey, I'm Joe." I said introducing myself and putting out my hand for her to shake.
"And I'm Y/N." She said shaking my hand.
"Do you need help with that?" I said seeing her pile of clothes in her shopping basket.
"No, it's okay. My friend will help. But thanks for the offer." She said smiling.
"If you don't mind, how about a cup of coffee after this?" I asked.
Smooth, Joe. Very proud of you. I said to myself.
"I don't date gang leaders." She said as a matter of factly.
"How did you-" I started but she cut me out.
"I saw you a couple weeks ago. I inferred about you and I came to know." She said.
"But you don't know me personally right? How can you even reject someone without a second thought?" I asked.
"Just like how you kill people without a second thought." She said.
"Hey, you! Leave her alone!" Her friend shouted attracting attention towards us.
"Jess, it's okay. Just calm-" Y/N said trying to calm down her friend but her friend wasn't taking it.
"Stay in your lane, mister. And if I see you next to her again, I won't hesitate to call the cops on you." She said.
"Why don't you leave her alone, sir?" Another person said. And soon enough, a crowd started gathering.
I pulled Y/N and placed a gun on her head.
"Anyone move a one step closer and I'll shoot her." I said tightening my grip on her. They started slowly backing away while Y/N stood there stiff.
Your POV
"Call 999." You mouthed to Jess. She nodded and slowly slipped into the crowd to call.
"You're a psychopath." You mumbled.
"I'm so sorry you got that impression of me but I have no choice right now. I have to protect you and myself." He said making me confused.
"What do you mean by you protecting me? From what?" You asked.
"I'll tell the details later." He said and the sirens from the police car attracted his attention cutting our conversation.
"You called the cops?" He asked.
"No my friend did." You said before mentally slapping yourself.
Why did you feel the need to say that, you dumb idiot? You scolded yourself.
"I have no choice now." He said before he picked me up and took me away.
"HEY! LEAVE ME RIGHT NOW!" You said struggling in his strong grip.
He just laughed before he placed you in the van and locked the door.
You tried to get out but all the door were locked shut.
He got in the drivers seat and drove off. You tried to get out, even blackmailing him but who are we kidding here?
He was laughing at your hopeless efforts and you grew angrier each moment.
"But if you did really think that I would fall in love with you after this, you are wrong." You said.
"If you really did think that you are safe outside this, you are wrong." He said making you confused.
How dangerous. To finally have something worth losing.
