9. Recruiting.

I look at Alistair and sigh. All I want is to be held right now. A tear slips down my face and I do all I can to stop myself from crying. He pets my head and whispers boards I cannot hear.

"We need recruits," I whisper.

"You don't mean... Thrandra, love. It's our wedding! We couldn't possibly ask them to come with us."

"We need them to."

"I know."

I look around at all the group's of people. I immediately think of the mages from the Circle tower and walk up to Irving. "Irving, I'm looking for recruits. Anyone in mind?"

"A few pop up. I don't exactly know if being a Grey Warden would be for them, though."

"Point me in the direction and I'll see."

He nods, then lowers his voice, "There's a girl, she's a year younger than you and has been absolutely fascinated by the Wardens. She's been exceptional in her training, and her Harrowing went marvelous."

"That sounds perfect."

"Yes, very. She's right over there by the food, and she's been waiting so long to meet you."

"I'm surprised I have fans."

"You have several," he laughs and then smiles, "That Cullen boy, he asks about you all the time. He came here, but I don't know if you saw him."

"I saw him," I whisper. Then I walk away.

I walk towards the girl he was talking about and quickly notice her. You'd notice her anywhere. She was dressed in the Circle Mage robes, and the ring on her finger. She was a bit shorter than me, but her hair was a lot longer. It was a dark, dark brown. Her eyes were green. That's not how I noticed her. I noticed her because whenever I started approaching her she watched my every movement, and started to scream and fix her hair. "Greetings, I am Thrandra of the Grey Warden. Irving spoke highly of you, alas I do not know your name.

"I'm Ageline! Angeline Harvood."

"Angeline... I think I remember you from when I was younger."

"Possibly," she beamed, "I used to sit with you in Magic class."

"I think I remember."

"It's alright if you don't, I was quiet and shy."

"Well now you aren't, you're over joyed!"

"Yes, very!" she smiled brightly, but then looked at me, "I know you didn't come over here for small talk, so what did you come over here for, Thrandra?"

"Well, I know you've been fascinated with the Wardens for quite a while. Me and Alistair are the only ones left in Ferelden and tomorrow we leave for Orlais. We were just supposed to go for training and preparations, but I thought maybe I'd recruit a few people."

"Wait you want me to be a Grey Warden?"

"Yes, you. We could use more people with your talents."

"I- I. Yes, of course I'll come."

"Good, we leave at Sunrise."
