Walking Free

The trees are golden and brown
The sea is salty and green

It might be the most beautiful thing I've ever seen
Of my vibrant surroundings I am keen

So I wander through the forest
Through the blackest of shade

To a spot in the glen where only we, the restless, have laid
And if we were lucky the most free of us stayed

We made a home in the valley of free
We sang songs you and me

Still the sun shone the glade
And the wind whipped the water

Well the tidal waves never swept the glen
And the earth never shook the glade

So in the forest valley of free we forever stayed
