Jongin's POV
When I was rechecking some documents, I felt my phone buzzing. I immediately took it to find out who it was.
Oh Sehun is calling...
I immediately picked his call. "Hello, Sehun."
"Hello, Jongin. Hopefully I don't disturb you at work."
"Not really, actually." I chuckled. "Well, what is it?"
"Hm, nothing. Just wanted to say hello." I heard him laughing for a bit. "Are you still at the office?"
"Yeah, I am still rechecking some documents for tomorrow's meeting. How about you? Still busy with your students?"
"Not really. Since the day of final presentation is coming closer, I only focus to some students, your little sister included."
"Ah, right. Is she well-prepared?" I asked.
"Yeah, she is the best among the other students under me, but she almost has no confidence. She easily gets scared and worried," Sehun answered.
I nodded and responded. "I agree with you. She whines about it everyday and I don't know how to stop her."
"I already told her to stop worrying, but she never listens to me."
"You need to be patient when facing her."
We both laughed.
"Hm, by the way, is Jiyeon doing well?" he asked.
"Yes, she is. The worst about her is that she whines every time I call her."
"Haha, how cute. Ok, then. Thanks, Jongin. Talk to you later."
"Sure. Bye, Sehun."
"Bye."
I ended the call and checked my phone. It was 4.00 p.m. Jiyeon must be home by now, so I dialed the number two, which got connected straightly to her number.
While I waited for Jiyeon to pick her phone, I remembered Sehun's words.
How cute.
I shook my head. Sehun was my best friend, but I would never want any of my best friends to ever have a love relationship with Jiyeon. She was my little sister and I wanted to protect her. They were not good enough to become Jiyeon's boyfriend.

Jiyeon's POVAs soon as I entered my apartment, I heard my phone ringing. I immediately ran and picked it up as I recognized the caller.
"Hello, Jongin."
"Hi. How's my little sister doing?" Jongin asked.
"I've just met with Jungkook." I heard Jongin chuckling. "His thesis is incredible, anyway."
"Well, I am sure yours is more incredible than his." I giggled at Jongin's words. He was the only one who could make me happier than before.
"How did your meeting go? Did it go smoothly?"
"Well... the meeting gets rescheduled for tomorrow. I can only hope that it will go smoothly," said Jongin, sighing.
"Why? What happened? Is there anything wrong?"
"No, no. Nothing's wrong. However, one of the CEO's son got into an accident and the meeting got rescheduled to tomorrow."
I sighed in relief. "Oh. I thought something was wrong with the meeting. Anyway, how's Jeju?"
"The air is so fresh! I will bring you here after your presentation, so you can release your stress!" Jongin responded excitedly.
"Woah, Jongin oppa is so kind. I love you so much!" I giggled after I threw him a virtual kiss.
"Wow, wow, hang on. Is your brain ok?" I continued giggle and Jongin chuckled again.
"Have you eaten your lunch?" Jongin asked.
"Yes, I have. Don't worry about it, Jongin. This little sister of yours is already an adult but you keep on treating me like I'm still a kindergarten kid!"
"Sorry, it's my habit. Well, has anyone called you?"
"Not yet. Actually, I'm not sure? Since I have only returned a while ago and you called right away. For your information, I have not even sat down yet," I answered.
Jongin laughed. "Well, sis, when I'm back to Seoul later, I will move your phone to a more comfortable position, so you can sit, no, lie down while you use the phone. How is it?"
"Woohoo, thanks for the offer. However, instead of this phone, I really need my smartphone. I can't bring this phone everywhere and I am sick of it."
"You need to raise your patience level, lil sis. Anyway, have you bought something for your dinner later?"
"Not yet. Actually, I am planning to have a mac and cheese for my dinner."
"Can you please get a healthier food?"
I rolled my eyes. "Cheese is good for human's health. Stop saying mac and cheese is not healthy, Jongin."
For your information, Jongin really hated mac and cheese. I was not sure of his reason, so go and ask him if you were curious.
"Whatever. Well, I need to review my works so I'll call you again later at night. I have told Kyumi that you are home alone so probably she will come over to bring you food. The healthier food, I mean."
"Stop it, Jongin! I am an adult!" I protested at him.
"Yeah, yeah. An adult who can't cook by herself and prioritize games to her family. Bye, Jiyeon. Take care!" He hung the phone up before I could throw him any rude words. Geez, I could not believe he was my brother.

It was two days before my presentation. Jongin was back from Jeju. He brought me many souvenirs and snacks. Jungkook was finished with his thesis and was ready to submit it by next week. Similar with Jungkook, Yoora had also managed to finish her thesis, but she had already submitted hers. She just needed to wait for the result now. If her instructor approved her thesis, her test schedule would come out soon.I was watching my favorite drama when I heard my phone rang. I rolled on to the couch to see whose number it was and immediately picked it up after that.
"What's up, Park Yoora?" I greeted her.
"I was wondering if your not-so-smart phone has been fixed."
"Not yet, but they said that I will be able to pick it up this afternoon."
"Will you go to the service center later?"
"Yes. Would you like to accompany me?" I asked.
"I would love to. Will Jongin go with you later?"
"Hmm, I'm not sure. His restaurant is kinda busy during lunch, so probably he won't. Why?"
"Just asking. Ok then, I need to take a shower now. See ya, Jiyeon!"
"Um, bye!" I hung up.

"Here it is, Miss. You can check it first before leaving."The person at the service counter handed me my phone and I took it happily.
"Thank you," I said as I smiled a bit. I hurriedly try to turn my phone on.
I felt that Yoora was shaking her head to my reaction. After placing the SIM card, I turned my phone and waited several seconds until I saw the home screen. I shook my legs impatiently.
When the home screen appeared, I immediately checked some applications to see if they worked perfectly.
"It's good," I commented after checking my phone. "How much is the service cost?"
"This is the bill. You can pay it on the cashier," He answered while pointing to the cashier. After thanking him once again, I walked to the cashier and handed the bill. Once everything was finished, I took my phone out from my pocket and realized that there were messages and missed calls.
100 missed calls from Oh Sehun.
94 messages from Oh Sehun.I gasped, my eyes widened.
"What? Why?" Yoora asked, full of curiosity. I showed her my phone screen. Her eyes also got widened immediately.
"H-how can?!" Yoora asked again.
I shrugged at her response. "I don't believe what I see."
"Me too. Well, you need to call him really soon. I guess it is really important, since he messaged and called you so many times."
I nodded. "Well, I will call him once I've reached home."

An hour later, I arrived at home. After changing into comfortable pajamas, I took out my phone from my sling bag and lay down on my bed. I opened the messaging application to see what did he message me about.I still didn't believe what I saw earlier. Why did Sehun call and send me so many messages? I shook my head and opened the latest message from him. It was sent this morning, before I picked my phone from service counter.
My eyes widened. I shook my head in disbelief.
From: Oh Sehun
I miss you, Jiyeon. All I remembered was that I threw my phone to my bed.
