Dean found himself in a familiar position, pinned up against something with a monster. In this case, it was a vampire. Its fangs were out, and it's wrist bleeding. It was trying to turn him. He had been in this situation before when Sammy was without a soul.  Dean grunting was holding back the bleeding wrist with one hand, and the other holding back the vamps head. The vampire quickly pulled his arm back, making dean let go of it. Next, the vampire thrust his wrist to deans mouth. Dean tasted the sourness of the vampire's blood and quickly tried to spit it out, but it was too late. The vampire smiled and helped dean up, and tried to lead him to a spot to start a new nest together, but instead, Dean grabs the machete that he dropped on the ground and chopped the vampires head off. Dean felt the overwhelming sensations of being a vampire again as he grabbed the head of the vampire, tipping the head upside down, making sure the vampire's blood doesn't drip out.

"Dean!" Somebody shouted way too loudly as he squinted his eyes in the direction the voice came from.

He saw Sammy running towards him, knife in hand.

"Dean are you okay?" Sam said wiping away the vampire's blood away from his mouth worriedly.

"Sam, do you remember the spell to turn someone human again from being a vampire? Because I think we might need it." Dean said feeling his gums burn with new fangs growing in.

This time sams reaction to dean being a vampire was completely different. He could hear Sammy's heart rush. Blood pumping in his veins. He was worried. Sam quickly went to deans side and tried to help him walk to the Impala, but Dean pushed him away slightly.

"I don't want to hurt you, Sammy. It's best if you stay there. I can hear your blood rushing." Dean said handing Sam the head of the vampire that turned him. "I'll call Cas and ask him to take me away somewhere there are no people. Pray for him when the spell is ready." Dean said, eyes still screwed shut.

"Dean, I felt a disturbance, what's wrong." Dean flinched and turned around, seeing the handsome blue-eyed angel behind him.

Dean gasped when he noticed his boyfriends wings. Dark as night. Soft as silk. They left dean speechless.

"Cas, can you take dean somewhere not populated, literally anywhere, just as long as people are nowhere to be seen for miles," Sam said, confused by deans sudden silence. "Dean got turned into a vampire."

Cas looked at Dean and back at Sam.

"I see." He said simply and grabbed ahold of deans shoulder and nodded at Sam.

Castiel zapped himself and dean to one of his favorite spots when he wanted to be alone. It was an abandoned town in the middle of about 100 miles of pure woods.

"Cas, I can see your wings." Dean just barely made out, still in awe by the feathers. "How?" He simply asked walking behind him to examine them.

"Wait, you can see them?" Cas said confused.

Dean carefully caressed one of castiels wing, taking in the pure beauty of them.

"Cas baby, they're beautiful," Dean said unfolding them from his back.

"My wings can't be seen by a humans eye, but other creatures can, and your not a human anymore. That must be why you can see them." He explained, embarrassed by his wings.

"I could definitely get used to being a vampire if it means I can see your wings," Dean said pressing his cheek to the soft feathers.

"Dean you can't stay a vampire just to see my wings," Castiel said folding his wings back down and turned around, now facing dean.

"I know, but it would be nice," Dean mumbled, cuddling into castiels chest.

Cas wrapped his arms around Dean, and seconds later, he wrapped his wings around him, only for his astonishment with them.

"Hey, Cas? Do you always wrap your wings around me when we hug like this?" Dean asked.

"Sometimes." He said simply.

"Good." He paused. "I like the idea of that." He said taking in castiels scent. "I'm starting to get a blistering headache from being out here in the sun, it's way too bright out here."

Saying that, within seconds, dean and Cas were now in one of the buildings with a whoosh. Dean took a look around,  it looked like a small bedroom, that lacked windows.

"Much better." Dean sighed and wiped his mouth. "You know Cas, I really friggn hate being Edward." He complained.

"I know that this isn't ideal, but Sam is working on it. We will get you back to normal." Cas said reassuringly.

"I've already had to deal with being a vamp once. I swear to god I'll kill every single one of  it means I don't have to be one again." Dean said sitting down on the floor of the empty room.

Cas didn't say anything. He just sat down next to Dean, wrapping his arm and his right wing around him. Cas pulled him into his side close. Dean leaned his head onto castiels shoulder, playing with the end of cas' dark wing. Dean ruffled his hand through the thick feathers before stopping, noticing a rather small one. Without warning, he plucked the small feather off of Cas, making him flinch a little.

"What the hell dean?" Cas said chuckling.

Dean remained silent as he examined the small feather. It was about half the size as the other ones, coming into be about an average hands length. He smiled and held onto the feather, making sure not to crinkle it. He sighed contently and breathed in castiels scent.

"I'm gonna miss this. It truly is almost worth it to be a vampire forever if it meant that I could see your wings every day." Dean said resting his head on his boyfriend's shoulder, trying to ignore all of the sensations and visual quirks that come with being a vamp.

"Dean look at me," Cas said firmly.

Dean looked up and saw a stern look on castiels face.

"I love you, but you can't be a vampire for the rest of your life. I won't allow it." Before Dean could say anything, Castiel placed a firm kiss on his lips.

Dean whimpered into the kiss, knowing that what Cas was saying was true. They pulled away and cuddled for a while. Cas holding a little tighter every time Dean made a sound of discomfort or flinched. Cas whispered sweet nothings into deans ear for reassurance. After a while, Cas sat up.

"Sam is praying. Are you ready? I'll be there the whole time baby." Cas said running his hand through deans hair.

Dean took one last look at castiels wings and sighed.

"Yea, I'm ready."
