Forbidden to touch, made her all the more desirable
A rare flower that faded with the night
Even as it was forever yours
A gazelle walking the night
Attracting and kindling need in a hunter
Sweet victory over the gentle soul.Forbidden to touch, he was more handsome
A proud lion stalking his prey
Watched from the distance of fear.
Fire dancing in sinewy muscles
Controlled, virile and seductive
Inflaming the need that remained unspokenForbidden to touch, they only stared
Knowing what the other felt
And yet wondering joyfully at it
Sweet torment exciting because
Yet the pain of knowing
They were forbidden to touch.Someday escape would chance,
The eyes shared together
When strict would be no more
And the spirits would break free
To explore the depths of why
They were forbidden to touch.
