I start my everyday rutine, with breakfast. I have some wheat cereal and sit by the table. My mother joins me a couple minutes later, smiling.

"Why are you so happy this morning?"

"You'll know soon enough,"

"..... Ok then,"

When we finish I start to exercise. My mother usually does it with me but today she feels anxious.

"Are you alright, mom?"

"Yeah, I'm fine,"

Maybe she feels that way because its the time of the week that Him brings supplies. He told us that if we tried to run away he would find us and hurt us so the thought of running sent a chill down our spine.

I grab a book and start to read. Since there isn't a tv reading is something I do a lot of. Him stopped bringing books a while ago so I read most of these book a couple hundred times.

Then it's time, time for Him to come. I go to the darkest place in the room because I know he doesn't like me. He comes in and everything is normal. He puts the stuff down says something to my mom and leaves... but the only thing is he didn't leave.

Insted my mother started hitting him, something I never thought she would do in a million years. She fights back.

Somehow she breaks free and runs. Its all happening so fast that I could barely tell what was happening. Him runs after my mom and they both run upstairs. I hear shouting and more running but then it goes quiet.

I don't know what to do that I just sit there. For seconds, hours, even what felt like days. The door is open. I could run. But I dont. I don't exactly know where to run to.

Then something breaks the deafening silence, I hear footsteps from upstairs. Then men come in the room. It isn't Him, but men dressed in black.

They look at me for a few seconds then they come up closer.

"Please don't hurt me."

Then I feel a pinch in my arm, and the world says goodnight.
