Chapter Seven

Author's Note:

Hello, readers! I'm so sorry that I haven't updated it for a while. I promise that I'll try to balance my career with my exams and school things! Ok , let's have a quick recap here! So, Bart is 17, Lisa is 15, Maggie is about 7 or 8. Homer and Marge are in their 30s, and Bob too. Previously, Bob accidentally bumped into Bart in the Quick-e-mart and he was invited to dinner at The Simpsons' house. Homer was going to be out, but the rest of The Simpson family will be there.

Enjoy!

Tomorrow came, and Bob was due to have dinner at The Simpsons' house that evening. However, before that dinner, was a day of work at Springfield University.

"What could possibly  go wrong?" Bob sighed sarcastically to himself, climbing into his car.    Bob arrived at the university a few minutes later, and was sat down at his desk once again.

"Good morning. I hope you've all completed your assignments, because they were actually due in yesterday," Bob chuckled, greeting all of the students. He shared a secretive smile with Caitlyn when she walked in, before turning to the whiteboard and writing something down.

A couple of hours later, all of the students, except Caitlyn, had started leaving.

"Hello, Professor," Caitlyn laughed, sitting down on the desk beside Bob. Bob chuckled,

"Ahh, your assignment, I see," Bob said, taking it from her and quickly glancing over it,

"Hmm. Yes, you seem to have a good grasp of this topic... Though, sadly, not a great one of spelling," he joked, putting a ring of red around a word in Caitlyn's assignment.

"Oh damn," Caitlyn sighed, "I've never been all that good at English, to be honest."

Bob gave her a confused look and replied, "You seem to be doing fine. But why study further English if you don't enjoy it?"

"Oh, I don't know. I was under pressure to choose a subject, and English was the one I found least depressing," she replied, smirking. Bob laughed.

"I always find a good book to be quite uplifting. What about you?"

"Mehhh... I prefer art."

"Yes, art can be quite moving too."

The two smiled each other for what felt like forever. They leaned in and kissed, embraced in passion and each other's love. Caitlyn's hand ran lustfully through Bob's chrisom curls. Bob felt likewise, and his hands explore her torso. Their desire intensified like a fire burning through a house, its heat tearing recklessly through the wood and concrete.

They separated abruptly to the sound of a knock at the door.

"Uh- Come in," Bob said, combing his hair with his fingers. The founder of the university, Brian Rutherford, entered, carrying a very large folder with him.

"Hello, Robert," Brian said brightly.

"Good afternoon, Mr. Rutherford," Bob replied, shaking his hand.

"How are you coping?" Brian asked gently, placing the folder down on a nearby desk.

"Ok," Bob answered, rubbing the back of his neck and sighing.

"That's great. Anyway, I'm really sorry to have to dump this on you ; I can see that you already have a lot to do," he said, gesturing to the pile of assignments on the desk, "But Janet's ill, and these are already overdue by two days."
