We woke up litterally at the crack of dawn. We had to get moving before the government could get on our trail.
We wondered into about 4 more small towns, giving our same speech to every town. The fifth town we went to was similar to mine, but without the water. This town was all rock.
After Jared and I gave our speech we walked around town. Jared was acting different,
"whats wrong?" I asked.
"I feel really warm."
I looked at his arm where i could see a faint turquois glow under his shirt. No..I thought to myself. This can't be happening. I looked around and saw a group of girls giggling and screaming. One of them had on her arm, a bright turquois star. She was pretty too.
"We better get you to a river to cool you down or something" I said. We hopped on the horse and rode as fast as I could get the horse to go.
Once we were outside of the town we settled by a small pond.
"Feel better?" I asked.
"Yeah that was weird"
"Sure was..."
I felt a little guilty pulling him away from his partner. But if you think about it its not real anyways its just some chemical.
