Chapter Twelve

Mike found out about Chris and Angela, he went to Angela's house already mad.

"How could you do this to me?" He asked the moment Angela opened the door.

"Do what?" She asked confused.

"How could you agree to be his girlfriend?" He asked

"Am sorry but you and I are already done I'm in love with Chris now"

"What about me Angela? I still love you" he said. Angela just looked at him not knowing what to say. Tears were falling from his eyes.

"I know I hurt you so bad it was foolish of me to leave that way but I've apologized a million times what do you want me to do?"

"Nothing, you don't have to do anything, I've moved on and so you too should move on" she said as tears fell from her eyes, she was feeling bad for him.

"Mike I still love you but as a friend the old feelings are gone, am sorry"

"I don't want to be loved as a friend" he yelled. "Angela am ready to do anything just to have you back"

"Mike you don't have to do anything, what we had is over" she said. Mike grabbed and pulled her to him. He then forced a kiss on her. Angela pushed him and slapped him.

"Never do that again" she warned and asked him to leave. Mike left an angry man.

He called Jerry and found out that Chris was with him in his house. He drove to Eldoville to see Chris. Jerry opened the door and Mike stormed in and grabbed Chris by his collars.
"How could you?"

"Calm down, I can explain" Chris said but Mike punched him.

Chris got up and punched him too. They started fighting and Jerry had to stop them.
"What's wrong with you two?" He yelled pushing each away from the other.

"I'm tired of him always punching me, I never knew he was Angela's ex and when I found out, God knows that I tried my best to control my feelings"

"I won't let you be happy with my girl be sure of that"

Jerry and Chris tried to make him understand but he wasn't listening to whatever they had to say. Chris got fed up.

"What do you want me to do then?"

"Leave Angela for me"

"Am sorry bro but that's impossible she's mine now and I can't let her go"

"We'll see then, a battle has just started" Mike said and started heading for the door. Chris called him.

"If you try to come between her and me, I'll fight you" he said. Mike opened the door and walked out. Chris sat back on the couch. Jerry just looked at him. He got a call from Angela and smiled then picked it up.

"Hi sugar" he started.

"Hi how are you?"

"Am good just that I got into a fight with Mike"

"Why?"

"He is just angry at me because of our relationship"

"Am sorry, this is all happening because of me"

"Hey, it's not your fault, Mike and I are family am sure we'll fix this" he said "but if he tries anything silly I won't take it" he added. They continued talking till late in the night.

The next day Angela woke up at six in the morning and as she was taking the trash out she found Chris standing at her door step. She was surprised. Chris pulled her and pinned her on the wall. He started kissing her and she kissed him back then pushed him gently.
