Shruti's POV :
Singapore was a wonderful place to be at , I was very happy here ,or maybe that was what I thought. The place was lovely, but I was lonely and broken form inside. Abhishek was earlier the best and now my worst memory. It was just my career which kept my thoughts occupied for sometime. All these years my wounds had healed to some extent but I still felt an emptiness without each one of them . Those smiling faces which greeted me every morning on the set and also after we left the show , how their calls woke me up every morning.

My alarm clock woke me, I stretched , lazily not in the mood to wake up as it was Saturday. I wanted to take another five minute nap but to interrupt that, the doorbell rang. I made a disgusted face and went to open the door, still in my pyjamas ,with my hair ruffled and spread all over my face.

It was a courier package for me and I took it ,signing the sheet which the delivery boy gave and closed the door,looking at the box ,puzzled. It was a wedding invitation.

"What the ....?" I said to myself .
Just when I received a call from Vibha aunty , Abhishek's mom.
"Hello Shruti ?"

"Yes aunty ."

"Did you receive the invite?"

"Yes I did . How did you find me but ? Did mom tell you ?"

"Yes , dear ,don't be angry with her . I insisted on knowing which is why she told me. Will you come ?"

"Oh yeah sure." I said ,too sleepy to understand what was going on .

"Okay see you ." She said,cutting the line.

I slept for another two hours and when  I woke up ,that was when I realised what had happened . It would sound rude if I told her now that I couldn't come and after all what was Aunty's fault. Abhishek cheated me , she was just inviting his friends . If he wants me to come,then I will , he'll get to know that whatever he does , it won't affect me now.
