Seventeen

Natalie's POV

I woke up and saw Sam wasn't beside me. I saw the candles and rose pedals were set on the desk and I started to reminisce about last night. It was absolutely amazing. I got out of bed and grabbed some clothes and I walked out of the room and I went to the bathroom and walked in and turned the light on and I shut the door and locked it. I put my clothes on the counter and I turned the water on and stripped and got in the shower. When I got out I dried off and put on my short shorts and a v neck t-shirt and I blow dried my hair and left it curly and I did a little bit of makeup and I walked out and down to the kitchen. I made myself something to eat and sat down and Sam texted me.

My Prince 💕:
Hey, baby. I should've told you, but I went out with Colby to get some stuff for a video.

My Baby ❤️💕:
Hey, babe. Alright, it's fine. You don't have to tell me everywhere you go. It's perfectly fine.

My Prince 💕:
I love you, baby. I'll be home soon.

My Baby ❤️💕:
Alright, I love you, too.

I locked my phone and finished eating. Devyn walked downstairs and into the kitchen.

"Hey, girl." She said.

"Hey." I said.

"Where's Sam?" She asked.

"He's out with Colby getting stuff for a video." I said.

"Alright." She said. My phone dinged and I saw a text from Brennen.

Brennen 🤦🏻‍♀️:
Hey, what are you up to today?

Natalie:
Hey, not sure. Sam's on his way home and he's gonna be shooting a video with Colby. I might go out. What are you up to?

Brennen 🤦🏻‍♀️:
Gonna hang with Nik.

Natalie:
Have fun with that then.

Brennen 🤦🏻‍♀️:
You don't wanna hang with us?

Natalie:
Do you remember the last time that happened? Nik and I got into a huge fight.

Brennen 🤦🏻‍♀️:
Oh right, wanna meet up later then?

Natalie:
I can't. I gotta talk to Sam.

Brennen 🤦🏻‍♀️:
Alright. I'll talk to you later then.

Natalie:
Later 😋

I locked my phone and washed my dishes and I walked to the game room and sat down and started playing video games. Sam walked in maybe 10 minutes later. They had a shit ton of bags with them. Sam walked over.

"Baby, I actually have a surprise for you." He said. I looked at him confused. "Elton, come here!" He said loudly. Elton came in with a puppy and came over to me.

"You got me a puppy?" I asked.

"I did." He said. Elton handed me the puppy. I held him and the puppy started to lick my face. "His name is Shadow." He said.

"I love it." I said and petted Shadow and he laid down on my lap. "Thank you, Sam." I said and pecked his lips.

"You're welcome. I know you told me you've always wanted a puppy of your own. So, I thought I'd do this." He said.

"I love it. It's the best present ever." I said and pecked Sam's lips. He smiled.

"I brought him food and bowls." He said.

"Did you get a collar and stuff?" I asked.

"Yeah." He put a bag in front of me. Shadow got off my lap and sat beside me. I pulled out a collar and put it on him and he started licking me. I smiled. "He's already house trained so we're good." He said. I nodded and Buddy and Circa came over and they sniffed each other. I sat there and then they all started playing.

"Well that was fast." Elton said.

"Yeah." I said. "Shadow, come here." I said. He jumped on the couch and sat on my lap and looked up at me. I took a picture of him and put it on Instagram with the caption:

Nataliesantiago Babe got me this gorgeous doggy. His name is Shadow and I'm insanely happy. Thank you, Sam. It means a lot that you did this. I love you @samgolbach 🖤

I locked my phone and played with Shadow.

I was up in the room and I was editing a photo when Shadow jumped on the bed and laid beside me.

"What ya want, Shadow?" I asked kissing his head. He licked my face. "Wanna go for a walk?" I asked and he jumped off the bed. I got up and put my laptop to the side and I put my VANS on and grabbed the leash and put it on him and grabbed my phones and walked out of the room with him leading. We walked downstairs and I opened the door and saw Sam and Colby.

"Where ya going?" Sam asked.

"Taking him for a walk." I said.

"Want me to walk with you?" He asked.

"Please? I hate walking the neighborhood by myself." I said. He nodded and we started walking. I put my phone in my pocket and Sam grabbed my free hand as we walked out of the gate. "Babe, I'm really happy you got me Shadow." I said.

"I'm glad you like him. He likes you, too." He said. I smiled to myself. We walked and let Shadow do his business and we started walking back towards the house. "Everyone's pretty much gonna be out of the house tonight. Do you wanna go out and do something?" He asked.

"Well, we can order Chinese food and stay in." I said.

"Sounds good." He said. He took Shadow's leash and I took my phone out of my pocket and I went onto Snapchat and took a picture of our hands and I captioned it "Going on a walk with Sam 💕 (peep Shadow in the corner)" and I posted it. We walked back to the house and walked inside and shut the door and he unhooked the leash from Shadow and he ran upstairs. I smiled. "I'm gonna order the food and everything." He said.

"I'll be upstairs." I said and went to our room and sat on the bed and started editing the photo while Shadow made himself comfortable.

Tonight is gonna be a good night.
