Chapter 7

** DANNIE'S POV **

Today I decided I should stay home and be with my family because number one I was not home all day yesterday and number two tomorrow I start school.

I ran in the door and straight up to my room to shower. After I showered I brushed my teeth and put on a flannel with cropped leggings and vans. I brushed my hair and put it into a side braid.

"What's for breakfast!?" I yelled running down the stairs sliding into my seat.

"Pancakes!" Sean yelled stuffing his mouth.

I piled some pancakes on my plate and scarfed them down they were delicious.

After breakfast I went to find my mother and father, they were sitting in our computer room discussing something I'm not supposed to know about or hear because they stopped talking as soon as my foot entered the room.

"Hi mom, hi dad."

"Hi sweetie."

"What are we going to do today?"

"We have no clue what do you and Sean want to do?"

"I'll think of something and get back to you."

I left the room and ran to Sean maybe we could got to the amusement park or the zoo, or something else

"Sean what do you want to do today would you want to go to the amusement park, the zoo, roller skating, or the lake?"

"Roller skating!" Sean loves roller skating I have no clue why but he just does.

Once we got to the roller rink we bought out skates and set all our stuff at a booth next to the rink. This was a cool place, they had strobe lights and music playing, there were arcade games in a room that you could skate right into.

I was having a amazing time just goofing around and having fun with my family until I looked over at the door and saw someone appear in the doorway.

Jess and her whole cheer team was here...great. This girl hates me already, I mean she spilled iced tea on me. She walked in and had supper short shorts on and a crop top that cut off before the spot most cropped tops do. I can tell what my mom was thinking when she saw her, slut.

The entire time I was there she was flashing evil looks at me.

"Mom I'm going to the bathroom." I said skating to the bathroom.

About a minute after I went in there I saw Jess enter the line right behind me. This can't be good.

"Hey Dannie!" She said acting nice

"Hi." I said trying to be as nice as I can

"So how were my sloppy seconds?" She said this with a smirk.

I didn't answer I just entered the stall and waited until she entered one to leave. After I left the bathroom I saw that my family was sitting at out booth ordering food, guess it was time to eat, at least Jess could leave me alone now.

During lunch my phone buzzed,

To Hayes - Hey 😊

From Hayes - How's your day going

To Hayes - It's good I'm having a family day and were at the roller rink

From Hayes - That's good are you having a good time

To Hayes - I was until Jess showed up and is giving me dirty looks every five seconds👹

From Hayes - Thats annoying just ignore her 💁

Right after this text appeared my mom got mad at me and said to put my phone away.

To Hayes - I will and I have to go I'm being yelled at for being on my phone sorry😢

From Hayes - It's okay have fun with your family I don't want to ruin your family day I'll txt you latter, bye 👋

To Hayes - byee 👋😊

Texting Hayes makes me feel so much better I just hope I can get through the rest of this family day with Jess staring at me.
