A simple message won't mean anything to me
... says, me who's been staring at my phone for a minute.
Toby has never spammed messages in the morning. He rarely answers messages, as he said and now here he is. I thought it would actually ruin my morning but it won't. Usually, non-stop message notifications would annoy the heck out of me.

"What's with you and the morning glow?!" My sister yelled when she saw me sitting at the dining table.
"I'm finally back to work, that's it!" I said and continue eating some scrambled eggs.
"I was standing for five minutes there, Tans." Ate pointed at the wall. "You were basically smiling at your phone! What could possibly the reason of my sister's smile?" She says.
"Funny posts? Not your business, Ate." I said.
"Alright, let's pretend it's not toby who's been texting you and he's the reason why you're smiling right now." Ate commented.
"Good guess. But it doesn't mean anything! We're really good friends." I said.
"God, I know you so well! Anyways, have fun then. I'll be out!" Ate says leaving.
"Wait, where!?" I asked.
"Not your business, Tanya." She said copying me.
"Fine. Take care!" I said.

"What happened to you?" Cassie asked as I enter my office.
"I know, I gained weight! I have been eating a lot when I took a break." I answered and dropped my things at the side.
"No! You don't look like you gained weight. You actually look glowing. Seeing someone?" She says suspiciously.
"Seeing no one." I said laughing.
"Matagal ka lang nawala after the issue, wala ka ng kwento? That's it?!" Cassie laughed.
"Nothing much happened." I shrugged.
"Nako, ah! Imposible. The next thing that might happen next is that I'll hear the news that he's dating you!" She says.
"Hmm, where will I start." I said...
"He asked big boss for my break, he cleared the issue, we went to Alabang just to see each other, he texts a lot, and that's it!" I said as I sat down.
"Oh my god, he really has a thing for you!" Cassie says.
"So not true, Cass. I'm not even close to his ideal type. Also, he's obviously sees me as a sister as I see him as an older brother." I said.
"You're so clueless. Can't you see how persistent he is on seeing you? He cleared the issue to protect you. He texts you a lot because he likes to. He wanted to see you even if his schedule is hectic. Tell me, he doesn't have a thing for you?" Cassie stated.
"Uh, yeah? Even if he'll like me, I think it's all too fast." I said.
"Who cares about time? He's there already! He likes you, You like him. Be together!" Cassie commented.

The day ended kinda smoothly. As I enter my apartment, I played my favorite song (which is currently, ilysb by lany) and immediately lay myself down on the couch. Toby's been texting me all day and wouldn't stop. I don't know if he's really busy or what.
