Meeting The Quiet Neighbors

• Lily's POV •

We had neighbors who were always quiet. They would avoid everyone. It's almost like they were hiding. It was two of them, a young mother and a little girl. I didn't go to the same school as the little girl because she's in elementary and I'm in middle school. I would try to talk to her outside, but she'd be quiet and run away. Then a new boy moved into their house. They started to be social. I learned their names and ages. Luke was like an emo guy. I was fourteen and didn't self harm. I had friends who were always happy. Luke was seventeen and not in school. I knew we were all gonna be great friends.
