The Walk of Solitude

In this spectacular eve of sunset

I, walking barefoot along the seashore

With the drizzle purifying the land,

Reminds me of the days spent with you.

The nature consoling my soul,

The zephyr caressing my face

Tries to make me forget the past.

Those lovely moments spent with you

Which have turned into a walk of solitude.

With every passing second,

The fear of all that loss; shivers down my veins.

The loss that no one can describe,

That has taken all the joy of my life.

The memories lost somewhere in the waves

Makes my heart sob in pain.

I fall there on the wet seashore,

I lay there waiting for someone

To come and offer a helping hand.

But, I recollect my consciousness

To find that there's nobody

To hold my hand anymore.

As you are gone

While leaving me behind to walk all alone...
