Vanessa: I know you're probably sleeping but I just landed. Text me later.

Vanessa hit send as she stepped out of the airport into the warm Melbourne air with her mother by her side. Wendy had been there waiting for her before she arrived, and they just now got out of the airport.

"It's chilly here," Vanessa noted, as they sat in the back of a fancy car. "Did you bring warm clothes or summer clothes?" Wendy asked. "Mostly summer but a few warm clothes," she answered. "It's okay, the fashion here is almost no different from America's fashion, you can buy what you'd buy over there," Wendy assured her.

After a drive filled with a conversation on filling each other in on what happened, they arrived at a penthouse. "Mom.. is this actually where you've been living?" Vanessa asked, her mouth hanging open as she looked at the building. "Yeah, is there a problem?" Wendy worriedly asked. "Problem? This looks amazing," she said.

Wendy's assistant helped carry Vanessa's luggage to the floor of their apartment. "Thank you Tony," Wendy shot a smile at him. He nodded his head then parted his way.

Vanessa looked around the hallway, admiring the lantern like lights and floral pattern along the carpeted floor. The way the white doors popped out of the baby blue wallpaper and how the overall place looked amazing.

"Vanessa, you might wanna take a few steps back." Vanessa didn't notice that she completely walked past the apartment. As Wendy opened the door, Vanessa was left speechless. "Oh my God," Vanessa mumbled.

There was a spiraled staircase leading upstairs to even more wonders, whole downstairs had a large grand piano underneath the stairs. The living room connected to a large balcony that overlooked the busy city and the huge kitchen with enough room to slide in your socks around. The room next to the kitchen was a large theater, maroon seats filing forward until the screen appeared.

Down the hallway by the piano was a bathroom, safety room and a closet that held simple household necessities.

"Let me show you upstairs and where you're staying," Wendy said with a smile. Vanessa followed her up the staircase, and down the yet again massive hallway.

Multiple doors filled either side of the walls, the end of the hall leading to the master bedroom, the biggest of all.

They took the first right at the end of the staircase and there was a bathroom, large but simple. On the opposite side were two unoccupied rooms, a third on the opposite side.

Wendy led Vanessa into the room next to the spare bedroom. "This is your room," she said. Vanessa stepped in and looked around the entire room. The king size bed was positioned in the middle against the left wall. Straight ahead was a large flat screen TV against the wall and under was a white dresser.

The room walls were a soft pink, coordinating with the white furniture set. The other wall led to another room, which was the shiniest bathroom Vanessa had ever seen, with a shower the size of a small bathroom. On the opposite wall, there was another balcony, again showing a perfect overview of the city. Lastly, was the large walk in closet with few shelves already filled.

"I wasn't sure on what you'd prefer to wear so I didn't buy much. But there's a mall a few blocks down that we can easily go to," Wendy informed. "Mom this is amazing, thank you," Vanessa said in awe, wrapping her arms around her mother. "I'm glad you like it, now let me continue the tour."

She was led down the hall again to the master bedroom and office, still in shock with everything. "Mom this place is amazing, how long are you staying here for?" Vanessa asked. "A while, that's why I made this choice," Wendy explained. "It was a good choice," Vanessa smiled.
