Chapter 8 // Persuaded.

      (Harry’s POV)

“This guy is her boyfriend!” Louis blurted and I stopped dead in my tracks tearing my gaze from the semi-familiar lady standing before me to the already beaten up guy who just messed everything up.

“What the hell!” I roared widening my eyes at him, but before my fist could interact with his nose, he caught hold of my upper arm and dragged me to the nearest room slamming the door shut behind him. I didn’t waste a moment and twisted the collar of his shirt in both of my hands dragging him towards me.

“What the fu.ck are you thinking?” I barked glaring down at him.

“Lower your voice! I don’t want them hearing any of this!” he whisper-yelled at me as he tried to break my tight grip on his collar.

“Why would I?! I will yell at the top of my lungs letting her know that I’m no one’s boyfr—” before I could even complete my sentence, he covered my mouth with his hands and I didn’t hesitate in throwing my fist on his face causing him to wince in pain as he stumbled backwards.

It wasn’t anything serious since I’ve gotten a lot of punches from Louis himself every time I tell him that I’ve been in a fight because a girl had tried to hit on me. And he deserves it at the moment, what the hell was he thinking?! Just lying to the lady that way and belonging me to some filthy creature like that Isa?!

“You dork! I didn’t want to visit Miami with a black eye!” he shrieked in pain holding on to his right eye.

“You deserve it!” I yelped in response and he gave a heavy sigh still holding on to his injury, and then sat at the edge of the bed.

“I feel like I’ve seen that so called Helen before.” He uttered confirming my suspicions. I’ve been staring at her because of that, I wanted to refresh my memory but I couldn’t. I calmed down a little bit and sat on the nearest chair to me.

“Yea, the feeling is mutual.” I said and frowned, “Where did you see her?”

“I don’t remember; that’s why I said you’re Isa’s boyfriend so she could stay for longer and I’ll leave you to figure out who she is.” He informed before going into the bathroom, opening the tap and washing his blackish red eye.

“I don’t wanna deal with any of them.”

“You don’t wanna know who she is? Don’t you feel she could be some important memory?” He replied raising the level of my curiosity even more. “Don’t over think it, I know that your inside is dying to remember who the lady is,”

“I won’t deny that, but at the same time, she’s a woman. Whoever she is, I’ve nothing to do with her.” I countered showing something that’s so different than what I was feeling. That lady has taken over my mind and I want to stab myself for not remembering her.

“Eleanor will kill me soon for not showing up on time. I’ll leave you to figure out … things. Try to act nice and don’t blurt with any regrettable thing, just go with that boyfriend thing till she lets you remember your past. She’s gonna ease a lot of your suffering nights when you remember who she is, Harry.” He stated opening the door of the room.

“Louis, you know her, right?!” I shrieked rushing to catch up with his fast pace, suspecting the way he seems so calm about the whole thing, he talks like he does really remember her. It’s obvious.

“I’m late, Harry! Wish me luck, bye!” He uttered ever so quickly running up to the front door after saying his goodbyes and apologizes to both of the women who were sitting on the couch.
