Destined Hearts

Distant shadows descend from my soul.

Countless beats of my drumming heart loose tune

and my mouth seems drier than sandpaper.

There you are, just out of my reach;

can see and speak, but failure to more.

 Star-crossed lovers hidden by a curse;

so deep that neither of us can get out.

Destiny is key to why we fell so far

and the reason for my perseverance for your embrace.

Nothing more would ever please me

because I know nothing ever could.

Our hearts destined to collide,

our lives fated to entangel.

But when does the toturre end?

When can we finally breathe freely in tune?

the only thing that makes us dream flawlessly.

Reality is only in those dreams
