The Big Four: Goes to School

The Cheer Leading Team (Rapunzel's Diary)

Dear Diary,

It was a really long day, although the time runs fast, but it also feels like a long one. You get my point. So, today I'm here at school, and my team is actually number one at the leader board of the Big Four. The second team goes to Mavis' team, and the third one is for Astrid's team. But Astrid actually told me and my friends that is alright to her because she is happy for us. I am a little afraid that she might know the truth about me and Jack, she still doesn't know yet. I just hope that one day when I tell her the truth it would be okay to her.

Rapunzel was just strolling along the hallway, getting her way to her class. Meanwhile, she stopped for a moment to check the bulletin board. She saw something that already caught her eye before she could see the other announcements. Rapunzel got excited when she saw this Cheer Leading Team, opening for an audition. She never actually tried cheer leading because she always gets kicked off before she could even dare to enter one. 

She immediately went to the office to get a form, luckily they gave her one. She doesn't really know who will be the coach but she is already confident. She signed the paper up and immediately ran to Merida's classroom. Class hasn't started yet so she still has time to tell her friends.

Merida was just playing with the microscope checking the plant cell and animal cell. "Psst," Rapunzel called. Merida turned her head to the door and saw Rapunzel with a smile on her face. Merida turned of the microscope and walked towards Rapunzel. "What?" Merida asked. Rapunzel grabbed her form and showed it to Merida. 

"No, really?" Merida was shocked. "Yes! I signed up, isn't it great?" Rapunzel exclaimed. "Wait, hold it. Why are ya joining? Do you even know how to cheer lead?" Merida asked. "No, but I heard they practice students really well," Rapunzel said. "Didn't ya hear what happened to Jessie last year? She broke her leg, lass. Look, it's not that I am forbidding ya to do this because ya still decide what happens in yar life but think about it. Cheer Leading in Bollywood High is an advanced practice that ya need to learn. There are more than just throwing and splitting. But I really hope that ya understand," Merida said.

Rapunzel's face turned upside down. She went to her class room. She saw Jack walking down the hallway. "Hey!" Jack said. "Oh hey," Rapunzel said. "I heard you signed up for the Cheer Leading Team," Jack said. Rapunzel was shocked. "How did you know?" she asked. "Hehe, I'm a jock. And you're cheering for my team, Mr. Smith told me already that you signed up for it. I'm glad for you, I'm looking forward in seeing you. Well, I need to get to class, hey...tell Hiccup and Merida, they might not know," Jack said. "Well, Merida knows already," Rapunzel said. "And?" he asked. "Well, she told me to think about it," Rapunzel answered. "Well, she takes things to negative, oh well, it's still up to you, bye," Jack kissed Rapunzel in the cheeks and ran to his room.

Still Rapunzel wants to join the Cheer Leading Team, it was her dream since she was like 5 year old.

Rapunzel's POV

I hurriedly went to the gym after class. I was the first girl to enter there. I am the earliest in short. The class will start at 1:00 PM after lunch. I grabbed my sneakers and shorts. I changed my clothes in the restroom. After I changed, I was shocked of what I saw. Flynn Rider is right there. 

To be honest, I don't know how to feel. I don't usually see him in school because our schedules of class don't match. He leaves earlier than me. Oh, and by the way, his team is sixth to the leader boards of the Big Four.

I am kinda shy. I feel so nervous, I don't know why. I have a boyfriend, okay?! Ugh, I need to chill. 

"Oh, hey," he called. He saw me! Hide! Hide! I hurriedly hid behind the wall.

"You're Rapunzel Corona right? From Jack's team? You're doing great these days, congrats," Flynn said with a chuckle.

"Oh. Yea, that's me. It's nice to meet you, Flynn," I said.

"Oh, so you know me already? Well, this school is not the big so I'm not that surprised...hehe. I didn't know you can cheer lead," Flynn said.

"Oh, no, no, no, no. I don't know anything about cheer leading. But I really wanted to try it. I've been really dreaming of joining a Cheer Leading Team. I hope it's okay," I shyly said. 

He smiled at me.

"Don't worry, trust me. I'll be teaching you how to be a great Cheer Leader," Flynn winked at me. 

Wait...what?! He'll be teaching me? Is there like a coach for this?

"Hello," someone called me. It was Mr. Smith.

"Rapunzel Corona. Wow, I am so proud of you. I can't believe you're joining in our team, well don't worry. Me and my Assistant Trainer will be sure to make you at your best," Mr. Smith said. 

I gulped. I...am...so...nervous.

No. I need to do this. I need to make everyone proud, even myself.

"Well, Flynn. I'll just go for a while to train the others, you take care of your first student," Mr. Smith said and winked at both of us. He left the gym.

It's so awkward.

"Wait? First student?" I asked.

"Yea, first and only," he said with a smile.

"But...aren't you going to teach others?" I asked.

"You're the only new here. Since the others are already trained, it's better if you have one on one training with me, so that I can teach you well. Sounds good?" he leans his face close to me and I gulp again.

"O---okay, just so you know...I'm not that of a fast learner," I said.

"Well, everyone always starts at being just a learner you know. Like me, I've been doing this for five years, and I was the slowest learner of the class," he said.

He is just like me. I didn't know that he is a slow learner too, it's...amazing. No! I mean no, we're not the same! I don't like him!
