Lily POV
"And may her spirit forever stay." The last words spoken by the Minister of Magic echoed around the room. They had made the funeral indoors, due to the falling snow. I stood up, and made my way to the front.
"May I say a few words, Minister?"
"Of course!" I stood at the front of the room and spoke clearly.
"I knew very little about Cassie. I knew what she looked like, and what her full name was. That isn't very much, but I still thought of her as my Best Friend. And whenever James was mean to Sev, She stood up to him. She dated Sirius, and I heard that they were going to be married at some point." Sirius was blushing. "I liked her, even though she collapsed often, and I wish her life was longer. The man known as Voldemort killed her, and I will always hate him for it. I think Cassie would have loved to see how many people cared for her, and how many came over just to see the girl from the lake. For Cassie." I lifted my wand and sent off a shower of green sparks. Others joined.
"For Cassie." I saw James was crying, and wasn't trying to hide it.

"For Cassie."
