1900 hours - Hasegawa's mansion, Mount Atago
back in Hasegawa's mansion, the handsome young man stood at the balcony and thought through the fact that Evan could stand in his way. he really wanted Kanami to be his bride but since she is taken by Price, this would be the point where he will have to figure things out. he ordered one of his men to check the British Embassy's archives and see if they can get any personal information on the scouser, the eventually hacked into one of the computers and got a hold of his file which quickly directed the hacker to MI6's file server which suddenly locked him out of access, it seems that the Hasegawa crew now knows who the guy is.
the next day, 0700 hours - Grand Prince Hotel Kyoto
on the following morning as Evan was suddenly awakened by his idol girlfriend's kiss to the lips, the scouser decided to see if DCI Philips who is still eating breakfast in one of the restaurants. "morning, gov" he sat in front of the detective chief inspector, "Evan, how's your trip so far?" Philips asked. "pretty good, honestly but...there's something i'm not really comfortable about..." Evan answered, "really? what is it?" the DCI asked. "there was this guy...i heard him talking with Kanami yesterday, something's off about him" Evan answered, "how off?" Philips asked. "he brought up the Puma crash like he was there when it happened..." Price answered, "what's his name?" the DCI asked. "Kazushi Hasegawa, he's said to be living in a mansion somewhere along Mount Atago" Evan answered, "strange...only a few people here would know much about the Puma crash..." the DCI mumbled as he finished up his breakfast. "one of 'em would be the survivor back in Tokyo" Evan replied, Philips then brought out his smartphone and called DS Thompson from the Flying Squad. "Thompson, i need you to see me as soon as possible...bring Bolton and the van as well" Philips said on the phone before hanging up, "what're they gonna do?" Evan asked. "if this Hasegawa lad knows something about the Puma crash, we'll try to get him into questioning" the DCI answered, sitting back as an attendant cleans the table for them.
1000 hours - 1.6 kilometers west northwest of Mount Atago
a few hours later, Flying Squad Detective Sergeant Thompson and Detective Constable Bolton arrived at the designated location in the transit van. it was as said by the DCI, a european-looking mansion which is barely guarded for some reason. "okay...so what am i gonna say?" Bolton asked, "you tell 'em that your vehicle's broken down and you had to walk a kilometer and a half to get help" Thompson answered. "you really think they're gonna believe me in there?" Bolton asked in concern, "don't worry, it's not like they'll detect the camera so here" Thompson answered as he places an eye contact on his partner's right eye. "what you're gonna see there will be transmitted and recorded, that means you don't have to take anything for evidence. here, you'll need this as well" the detective sergeant said as he hooks a small wireless earpiece to his ear, "i look like i was driving a BMW" the detective constable said as he looked into the mirror right after having the device to his ear. "it's pretty much the point now don't hang up because we'll be recording the audio as well" Thompson said as he calls the detective constable's phone, Bolton would then accept the incoming call and locked the screen before hiding it in his jacket. "okay, you're good to go...good luck" the detective sergeant said as his partner steps out of the van and approached the front gate, "okay...i'm recording it right now, keep cool." Thompson said to the detective constable as the guard suddenly approached him, "konnichiwa (hello)" the guard greeted him. "oh hello, my uhh...car died out a kilometer back and i might be in need of help" the detective constable lied to the guard, "what is your name?" the guard asked. "uhh...Yorkie Sharpe, yeah" Bolton answered, "...alright..." Thompson mumbled with a shrug as he heard. "wait here, i'll open the gate" the guard said before opening the front gate, allowing Bolton to enter the property. "attaboy, Bolton" the detective sergeant said he watched from the monitor in the back of the transit van, "Mr. Sharpe? Kazushi Hasegawa, welcome to my home" Hasegawa introduced himself to the detective sergeant and even welcomed him inside. "thank you, Mr. Hasegawa. i wouldn't know what to do if it weren't for you" Bolton responded as they entered the foyer, "i must apologize for the lack of services here, i thought this would be a quiet place for houses like this" Hasegawa said. "it's not your fault, Mr. Hasegawa. i should've taken a better route going to Kyoto." the detective constable replied, "please, sit down and i will see if i can contact someone to get you to Kyoto" the handsome lad insisted. "thank you..." Bolton said as he sat down before a maid approached him and served him a cup of tea, "okay, you're probably clear for now. see if you can get on to him" DS Thompson said. "alright" DC Bolton replied as he stood up and snuck around the modern mansion, eventually overhearing a conversation between Hasegawa and one of his men. "Deimos, my master. we've sent men to look for his vehicle" an armed man said in english but with a Spanish-sounding accent, "good, let's hope that this man is not here to spy on us" Hasegawa replied before walking off. "Deimos? bloody hell..." Thompson mumbled, "why? why Deimos?" Bolton asked. "Deimos, god of terror...said to be looking for a bride to take home to the underworld" the detective sergeant answered, "that could be why he was hitting on Kanami..." the detective constable whispered. "let's see if we can find something that could lead us to the Puma crash" Thompson said, "right" Bolton whispered in response. his objective now is to find out what Hasegawa knows of the Puma crash, his first guess would be going to a suspiciously dark room. "wonder what's in 'ere" Bolton whispered as he gently opened the door and entered before witnessing a terrifying sight, "bloody hell..." the detective constable murmured as he found what seems to be a combat vest covered in blood. "...shit..." even the detective sergeant saw it through the hidden camera in the eye contact, "now we know what happened to Townsend's vest...he tore it up and kept it as a trophy..." Bolton whispered as he laid his left hand on the damaged combat vest. "you don't have to take it now, see if you can find some more evidence on him" Thompson said, "right" Bolton answered as he quietly left the room before suddenly overhearing a conversation between the two guards at the balcony. "i still can't believe our lord Deimos brought down a helicopter like that..." one of the guards said to the other, "it's only gonna be a matter of time before the British finds out" the other guard replied. "...judging by one of their accents, one of 'em must be Filipino" DS Thompson assumed, "that'd explain the shrinking number of active AFP troops..." DC Bolton responded. "there won't even be much of a point in getting a lawyer from our business fronts, they're probably just gonna send the SAS in here" the other guard said, "well in that case, i should be ready for anything" the guard replied. "business fronts...? hope this lad's got an office" DS Thompson commented before the guards were suddenly alerted. "someone alert Lord Deimos, tell him there's no car. this guy could be lying" another guard said on the radio, "shit! Bolton...get out of there quickly" the detective sergeant told Bolton who then hurried back to where he was sitting earlier. "Mr. Sharpe!" Hasegawa eventually called out to him, "yes?" Bolton asked. "they want to know if you're really there" the handsome lad said, not even mentioning whoever he was calling but at least lead him to the telephone that Bolton then picked up before saying "yes, this Yorkie Sharpe...a van will be enroute, okay...thanks" the detective constable faked it after hanging up. he put down the phone before turning around to see Hasegawa who eventually shot him in the face with a silenced USP .45, terminating the video connection. "shit! Bolton? Bolton!? shit..." DS Thompson murmured as he brought out a Glock 17 handgun, loading it then stepping outside before he was suddenly assassinated by one of the armed guards who would later on take both of the bodies to an incinerator where they were cremated. the guards then disposed of the transit van by rolling it off the cliff, making sure that no one and not even the British will find whatever was recorded in the computers in the back of that van.
