Jay's P.O.V
"Why did you turn of the lights?" Lindy asked me while she shifted in her place, she kinda seemed uncomfortable.
"Oh well.. the stars shine much brighter in the dark, you know"
"Well they do look very beautiful tonight"
"Not as beautiful as you tonight Lindybird!" Even though the only light shining is the moons glow, but that is more than enough to see Lindy's cheeks turn a light pink color because of my comment.
"Aw thanks Jay!" I loved when she said my name. Not in that way Jay! What am I thinking i just met her and I'm already fancying her in bed... I still have a long way to go, I just hope that my trip is cut short.
I got Lindy a necklace but I'm not sure to give it her, I mean what if she doesn't like it? What if she doesn't wear necklaces...? Honestly I haven't seen her wear a necklace since I've met her.
Its now or never Jay. My conscience tells me.
"Lindy I have a gift for you"
"Who me?" I can tell she wasn't expecting a gift, well of course she wasn't no one knew about my gift for Lindy, well except the lady at the jewellery store.
"Well your name is Lindy right?" I reached into my pocket and pulled out a small golden box and opened it for her to see.
"I saw it and it reminded me of you" her eyes widen when she sees the necklace and I cant keep in the smile that is splattered across my face.
"Oh Jay you shouldn't have, it must have been very expensive" she says while she fidgets with her fingers.
"But you're worth it Lindybird!" I place my finger under her chin so that she looks up at me,
"Thanks Jay its beautiful, it truly is but i cant accept it" Sometimes she is very stubborn.
"Please Lindy, its just a nice gift from me to you" I looked at her with pleading eyes, just maybe she could change her mind about the gift.
"Oh okay if you insist" She finally agrees to accept my gift and i cant be any happier
"May I?" I ask for permission and she grants it, I take the necklace out of the box and place it on Lindy's neck. When I'm finished she turns around to face me, and I'm surprised to see our faces only inches apart.
A/N: Sorry we dint update the chapter in 2 weeks, and sorry this chapter is small too, but we've been pretty busy... but we should be back updating on a regular basis again.
