This story line literally just came to me today and I couldnt wait to start writing it out! I hope you like the first chapter! Please vote and comment! I would really love some feedback!

My muscles strained under the weight of wolf I was currently competing against for my life. It was pretty strait forward, fight with everything you have and win. It’s either that or you die, and believe me I had no plans on dying any time soon.

“Kill, kill, kill.” The crowd chanted around me and I couldn’t help but want to win even more. My wolf growled as she agreed with me and watched my opponent shook out her dark brown fur and looked at me with her anger filled eyes. I could see the reflection of my grey and white wolf in her eyes, and I couldn’t help but grin internally at how good I still looked even though we have been battling for almost 30 minutes so far. I knew that if I didn’t end it soon I would regret it later when my ‘master’ would come and critique my every move.

It’s kind of ironic that we are made to call him master, as if he somehow above what we are when he is in fact a werewolf himself.

Clearing my mind I pushed back and let my wolfs instincts move to the front of my mind. I watched as brown wolf made the one fatal mistake that would cost her her life.  Her right side was definitely being slightly favored and she was bracing herslf with her left hoping I would allow that side to take the brunt of the impact.

This was it, this was the moment I was going to come out on top again. Launching myself over her back in one leap, I snatched her right hind leg in my teeth and twisted with my whole body until I felt the bones crush beneath my weight. As she crumbled to the ground I took the opportunity to brag the back of her neck in my jaws, crushing and turning breaking her neck in one final moment.

It was nauseating when the crowd jumped and cheered with delight. One day I would break free of this place and I would kill every single person involved no matter what the cost or who they happened to be. Someone would pay for our ruined lives, I promised myself as I ignored the cheering crowd who chanted my name.

“Jenna!” I heard a voice that made my heart drop. I turned and looked into the crowd and saw him. James! This couldn’t be real. I closed my eyes tight and opened them again. He was still standing there with his tussled light brown hair and hazel eyes. Those eyes made my already broken heart shatter all over again. They were filled with pain and longing that I could feel down to the deepest depths of my core.

My wolf whimpered and brought me back to the make shift cage that I was in. Those bars are what are keeping me from him, my mate and my love that I haven’t seen in almost two years.

“Jenna!” He shouts again and I force myself to look away. They couldn’t know that he knew who I was or they would kill him without a doubt. It took everything I had to make my wolfs legs move forward  and out the narrow gate. I could hear him as he continued to shout my name and I just wanted to break down right there and cry. Making it back to my allotted cell, the guardsmen opened the door and kept his gun pointed for my head. I paused for the slightest of moments, contemplating on if I stood a chance against the man with the gun. But my hesitation was taken for a threat and the next thing I knew was the blinding pain that filled my head as another guard smashed the back of my head with the butt of his gun. I fell to the ground and whimpered in pain and cried out when shoved my already beaten and abused body into the cage before locking the door behind him.

I must have laid there and cried for a while by the time I found the energy to shift back into my human form and pull on some ratty tattered clothes. Just as I was about to crawl in the make shift bed we had made out of loose straw I heard the lock in my door being clicked open. For a brief second I allowed myself to hope and pray that James was on the other side of the door, but I had been a fool. Master walked in and smirked when he saw that I was crouched in a corner.

“Jenna my dear, you always know how to put on a show that’s for sure.” His deep voice rumbled in the silence that always inhibited the cells and their occupants.

“Thank you Master.” I continued to look at the ground. I had learned fast when I was first brought here to never look the master in the eyes. You would end up with the medic before you had any idea what was going on.

“So you noticed the young man in the crowd,” He said casually as if he was only making small talk. “You made quite the impression on him.”

I stayed silent and prayed that they thought he was just an crazed fan.

“Do you know the boy Jenna?” Master stepped closer.

“No Master.” I whimpered. My heart felt like it was about to beat out of my chest from fear.

“Are we lying Jenna?” He crouched down beside me and grabbed my face in his hand, forcing me to look him in the face.

“No Master. I promise, he must be a fan.” I fought back the tears.

“Very well,” He stood up and walked towards the door. “Next time Jenna, why don’t you play with your challenger a little longer. Give the fans a real show.”

I felt by body begin to shake uncontrollably after he closed and locked the door behind him. As much as it pained me to think it, I hoped that James would stay away and stay safe. I would die for him if I needed to.

James’s POV:

I’ve spent the last two years searching for the love of my life. There are no words that can describe the pain of losing my mate and not being able to do anything about it. There are those that are beginning to doubt that Jenna was taken against her will, and I couldn’t understand how they could think that a mate would be able to just walk away from her other half. But there are others as well that still help me search for Jenna every free moment that they can, and for that I owe them the world and more.

Every time I close my eyes I can’t help but see her face and feel her soft skin. One day I would hold her again and I will never let her go again.

“James!” My Beta Connor came bursting into my office. “We have a situation.”

“What is it?” I stood up from behind my desk, my whole body ridged and ready to shift in a moment’s notice if necessary.

“There’s a rumor going around the underground that there is going to be some sort of fight club going on down that the abandoned gym.” Connor shifted back and forth on his feet not meeting my eyes.

“What are you not telling me?” I pushed a little with my alpha authority. I didn’t like to use force but sometimes there were situations where it saved precious time.

“Its women alpha, they are saying that these girls are animals. They are taking them and making them fight to the death and the winners stay with the group and are herded around the world as prisoners forced to do it over and over again till the eventually die.” Connor kept trying to look away but I kept my eyes locked to his own.

“I always thought that it was some sort of cruel joke that something like that would exist in our world. Looks like we are gonna have a real mess on our hands. Go get the guys together and tell them that we leave at dusk to find out more.” I sat back down and picked up the phone to gather some surrounding packs to help with the situation.

“But James that’s not all. There’s a girl there, they say that she’s the main fighter, she’s never been beaten. She was brought in two years ago.” Connor said.

My whole body froze. It couldn’t be, there was no way. Looking him in the eyes, I felt my heart speed up as he finished saying what he knew.

“James the girls name is Jenna.”
