Marinette's eyes fluttered open slowly. She was cuddled up next to Adrien. His chest was facing her. The night before resurfaced. Her cheeks turned hot. It had been her first time. Her first time with the one she loved. She bit her lip, but couldn't help it. She smiled. Their clothes from the night before were strewn around the floor around their bed. Marinette reached over and plucked her shirt off the nightstand. She pulled it over her head, and then sat up.
The sheets shifted. "Marinette...?" Adrien asked, his voice groggy from tiredness. Marinette looked over at him.
"Goodmorning." She smiled.
Adrien stretched his arms up. "How are you feeling, princess?" He asked, pushing his hair out of his face.
"Good... really good." She admitted, rubbing the back of her neck.
"I'm glad." Adrien chuckled. Marinette slipped out of the bed, sitting on the floor as she slipped her clothes back on. She walked around the bed, picked Adrien's shirt up and handed them to him.
"Hey, get dressed. We have a full day of sailing before we reach our first port. I want to walk around the boat again." She crossed her arms. Adrien sighed
"If I must..." he groaned.
Their days at sea were spent walking around the various decks of their ship, enjoying the foods from different parts of the world and watching different shows in the auditorium. The day the boat was docked - they were in Mahogany Bay, Honduras.
Adrien led Marinette off the ship and to the station where they were meant to be swimming with the dolphins.
Not only did they get to pet the aquatic creatures, they got to swim around the small coal-covered area with them. The water was crystal-clear and you could see far down.
Their next stop was Panama, and then Brazil where they spent the most time. They toured all around Guanabara Bay, and even got to see the Christ the Redeemer statue. On the way back they visited Belize and Cozumel Mexico.
Before they knew the first part of their trip was over. Marinette tanned for once, and of course Adrien teased her for it.
They made it back to the Houston Airport and boarded a plane to Palm Springs, California.
Marinette's first and second choices would be to visit New York or Seattle, but due to it being freezing in both places, California was second best where it was always warm.
Marinette was laid out next to the pool, dipping her fingers into the cool water. Reflecting back on their trip, she couldn't believe how fast the time went by. Before they knew it, years would go by and then where would they be? Would they have a family? Where would they be living? Marinette had no idea. Maybe that was the best part about it all. They still had a lot to decide.
Adrien sat down next to her, letting his feet be submerged under water.
"We go back home in three days..." he sighed, kicking his feet gently under the clear water.
"I know... I almost don't want to." She admitted, adjusting her sunglasses. "I didn't imagine that parts of the world would be so warm all year around." It was still a shock to her.
"Im not surprised you didn't know that. You've only ever lived two places your entire life." He chuckled, nudging her shoulder.
"What happens when we go back?" She asked, suddenly changing the subject. She was examining the rings on her left hand, moving it around to cause the light to sparkle off of them in different ways.
Adrien thought for a moment. "We go back to our normal lives. We work, we come home and then repeat the next day. We are adults now, you know." He looked down at her, smiling.
Marinette pursed her lips. Is that what it meant to be an adult? She almost missed being in school. Key word: almost.
"I guess we'll just have to get used to it now, huh?" She laughed.~
Their honeymoon ended quicker than Marinette wanted it to. But she was glad to be home. She had missed sleeping in her own bed and she had missed working, much to her surprise. Life was normal again.
Normality would only last for so long, Marinette realized when a year and a half later she was staring down at a little piece of plastic and metal, showing a little plus sign in blue.
Adrien's expression when Marinette told him he would be a dad was something she'd never forget.
Telling her parents they'd be grandparents was something she'd never forget.
Asking Alya and Nino to be the godparents of their child was something Marinette would never forget.
Marinette had put good use into the Adventure book Alya had given her. Pictures of their wedding day, their honeymoon, moving into a permanent house, and all the way up till now. The day their daughter came into the world. Her first Halloween, Christmas, Easter, birthday, the day she said her first words and began walking. The day their son came into the world, his first Halloween, Christmas, Easter birthday, the day he said his first words and the day he began walking.
The first pet they own together as a family had its own page in the Adventure book, a small pug named Belle.
Never in Adrien or Marinette's right mind did they ever think this is where their lives would end up.

A little time-lapse chapters to move along in the plot because Wednesday's chapter is the finale!!!
I am so sorry I had to time-lapse it. I couldn't figure out a way to smoothly transition everything I wanted to complete in one to five chapters maximum and it was just stressing me out, so a lapse chapter was my only option. I hope you all don't hate me for it! It was seriously my only option!Ahem.
I know the first comment is cut off but you know what you wrote so I'm going to answer it.
