Are any of you guys in a long distance relationship?

and by "Long Distance" I don't mean when your boyfriend or girlfriend lives in the next town over, or is just an hour drive away.

I mean when there are hundreds of miles between you and your bae.

I mean when it takes you hours of a drive to see your partner.

I mean when you only get to see your other half every one or two months, sometimes less.

If you're in one, please tell me about it.

 I'm in one as well.

I love hearing about other peoples long distance relationships.

They make me so happy.

Did you guys know:

80% of legitamate long distance relationships all work out in the end;

and

that last 20% that have not exactly fully lasted,

has been proven to have lasted longer than most normal distance relationships.

I think that's great.

I love how LDRs can show just how strong love is.

Now, for me, love is a touchy subject. I've had shitty boyfriends in the past and to cope I've become a romanticizing nerd who's hopeless and weak to anything cute and lovey.

Although, I get embarrassed when people find out.

I'm in a relationship now and I'm completely happy about all of it, except... he lives 515 miles away in Tennessee. That's an 8 hour drive.

I absolutely love him.

I am madly in love with this boy who's 6'2" and a year younger than me.

and I owe my overall love and respect to him because he's changed me so much in the past year.

If not for him I'd probably have killed myself by now (Not kidding)

before meeting him i was super suicidal and contemplated on killing myself a lot over the fact that i didn't feel cared for by anyone or loved by anyone. (now before you say anything about craving attention, stop, you don't know my backstory or anything about me)

If not for a boy who lives in Tennessee, 8 hours away, 515 miles between us; I would most likely not be here right now.

This relationship has truly shown me how far two hearts can go to conquer anything.

I've been shown what real loyalty and what real trust can look and feel like.

and I feel as though I am very fortunate to have fallen into a Long Distant Relationship with a boy of whom I can get along with very well.

Of course, we have our differences, but unlike most couples, we can talk them out... -with the distance in the way that' s all we can do-

Long Distance Relationships are, of course, hard, but once you find someone you really really care about, these kinds of relationships are so worth the wait.

I'm not saying anything like, 'oh normal relationships are horrible' etc etc

I just love long distance relationships so much, when the relationship works out for both people and both people aren't disloyal assholes to each other.

you feel me, here?
