You and Licht have been friends since the seventh grade and have hung out pretty often. Usually, his servamp, Lawless, would always tag along due to the distance limit between eve and servamp. Licht and Lawless would always start fighting over anything, but you weren't the type to stop them, you usually just let them fight themselves out. Today you were walking home from one of his concerts, and they were at least four yards behind you and they started bickering. So being the 'amazing' person you are, you decided to eavesdrop.

"Shut up, demon rat!" Said Licht as he tried to kick Lawless.

"Just saying," Lawless beamed. "You should tell her, it would make your life easier, Angel Cakes!"

"No, it would make everything awkward and weird." Licht told him as he kicked him again.

"Oh, okay..." Lawless said as he grinned evilly. "You want me to be your wingman?" 

"No."

"Too late!"

"No, wait, Hyde!"

Lawless walked over to you casually with his hands in his pockets, a devilish grin on his face. "(Y/N), Licht has something very important to tell you!" Lawless exulted, pushing you towards Licht. You look up at Licht, who appears extremely annoyed by his actions.

"Bye!" He said while running in the opposite direction.

"Get back here, Rotten Hedgehog!" Licht yelled at the vampire.

"I regret nothing!"

Licht tried to run after him but you grabbed him by the arm. "What did you want to talk about, Licht?" You asked.

"Uh..." He marveled, trying to find the words to tell you. "Well, er... You see... Uh..."

You stared at him while he stuttered and blabbering gibberish. You got annoyed by the blabbering and grabbed his shoulders, looking him in the eye. "Calm down, and breathe..." You instructed him. He did what you said and opened his mouth to speak.

"Well, (Y/N), You might not be able a handle an angel like myself telling you this but..." He said. 

"Okay." You replied simply.

"I like you..." Licht told you. "In a romantic way, do you feel the same?"

"No," You said bluntly. "I hate you."

 Licht stared at you silently, shocked that you said that to him. "You know I'm kidding, right?" You continued.

"You," He said, having a relieved expression on his face. "Have a sick sense of humor... But that doesn't change the way I feel about you."

"Good," You snickered. "Because I like you too."

You stood on your toes and pecked his lips. As you pulled away and started walking you grabbed his hand, and he intertwined his fingers with yours as you walked down the street to catch up with Lawless.
