sunflower sunflower,
weeping for the sky,
sunflower sunflower,
watching sunsets, asking why.sunflower sunflower,
saying "don't go."
sunflower sunflower,
as if she's all you know.sunflower sunflower,
ignoring the sun rays,
sunflower sunflower,
not speaking a word all day.sunflower sunflower,
you are so sly,
sunflower sunflower,
facing the sky.you act as if you need the sun,
you precious bloom indeed.
you act as if when it's night,
you can hardly breathe.but when the sun if there,
shining for you bright,
you act as if you're impatient,
waiting for the night.you do not want the sun,
nor the moons soft light,
you simply want what you can't have,
a devious flowers blight.sunflower sunflower,
the sun has seen your play,
sunflower sunflower,
have fun with sunless days.-at 🌻
