Why? Why her? She already had it worst. I squeezed her hand as I sat next to her. I couldn't believe this happened to her. I found out that the man's name was Hanzo. He and my sister were friends. But I think more than that because of the way Hanzo was acting.

My heart was heavy in sorrow. I heard someone walking in so I looked up and saw the doctor. I saw Hanzo stand up quickly. "Is she ok?" He asked worriedly. I looked at the doctor with hope. The doctor looked down at her clipboard uneasily. I was scared. "Boyfriend?" She pointed at Hanzo with her pen. "No, friend." He responded. The doctor then turned to me. "Sister?" I nodded my head and gulped.

"Ok. There isn't any severe injuries, only cuts and bruises which can eventually heal. But..." The doctor removed her eyes from the clipboard and between Hanzo and I. "This could either be a good thing or a bad thing. Especially since the incident that occurred." I was confused. "What is it?" I asked frantically. "She's...positive." She stated. I gasped. I knew what she meant.

"What do you mean she's positive?!" Hanzo exclaimed. I could see the anger in his eyes. "She's pregnant." I closed my eyes and sighed. Now she would have to always remember this incident. "She could abort it or keep it. That's her decision when she wakes up." Almost on que, I saw Mileena began to stir.

As soon as she got up, she started to cry. I comforted her with a hug. She squeezed me tight as if her life depended on it. "Kitana..." I hushed her. "I know. I know." I tried to calm her down while my own tears threatened to fall. She let me go for a moment and I looked at her. She was looking behind me. I followed the trail of her eyes and noticed that she was looking at Hanzo.

He walked up to the bed beside her and got on his knees. His head down in shame. "I'm so sorry Mileena." He apologized. I was so confused. Mileena frowned in confusion. "There is nothing to be sorry about. What happened was not your fault." She denied. Hanzo looked at her and I saw his eyes twinkle. Yeah, they got something going on between them.

Hanzo got up and hugged her. She looked surprised for a moment but returned it. Even in a situation like this, she seemed happy that he was here. "Hey. Once I get home, this situation will be over and done with." Mileena stated, oblivious. I felt bad as I chewed my bottom lip. Hanzo and I looked at each other and the at the nurse, who we completely forgot was here. None of us said a word, but Mileena noticed it.

She pulled away from Hanzo and looked at us. "What's wrong?" She asked worriedly. I could hear the panic arise in her voice. The nurse spoke up. "You are a carrier." She spilled out. Mileena froze for a moment. Hanzo wasn't looking at Mileena. "You do have three options dear. You could keep the child or abor-." "I'm keeping it." Mileena responded, surprising everyone.

"A baby deserves a life. It wasn't the child's fault. I would never kill my own child. No matter the situation." She explained while looking down at her hands. I hugged her once again. So mature. I saw Hanzo take Mileena's hand. "I would do anything and everything in my power to help you." He promised before kissing her knuckles softly. She smiled at him. I looked at them both in awe. So cute!!

After that, the nurse told Mileena all the basic things she need to know for her pregnancy. Like taking vitamins and preparing herself. Hanzo and I stayed in the hospital for those two days Mileena was there.

I wanted Mileena to come over to my house while she recovers, but she wanted to stay with Hanzo. She has a good amount of trust on him. I was uneasy at first, but Mileena insisted she will be fine. I ended up agreeing at the end.

Before I left Hanzo's house, I hugged Mileena one last time. "You be careful, okay." I warned. She smiled. "Of course I will. Hanzo won't ever let me out his sight." She joked playfully. For someone who just came from a incident so horrible, she's still the happy person I know. I knew exactly why. "I guess you finally found the one." I stated. Mileena blushed. "No, we're only friends." She denied nervously.

"Yeah that's true but he seems like a great future husband." Mileena sighed. "I really like him, a lot. But--I don't think he feels the same way." She revealed uneasily. That was ridiculous!

"He cares so much for you. He allowed a place for you to stay. He cooks for you. He even offered to take care of a baby with you. If that isn't love, I don't know what is." I reassured. Mileena looked down at the ground for a second before looking back and at me. "Fine. I'm going to take your word for it." She beamed. I smiled at her.

I begun to walk to my car. "Goodbye sis." I waved at her. She waved back. "See you later my dear sister." She called back. I smile again and open my car door. I waved again before driving off to my own house. To my own problems.

Once I pulled up in the driveway, I felt all the good atmosphere go away. I can't believe my home don't even feel like home.
