A few days have passed and it seemed like an eternity to Keith. He still wasn't used to all that. No showering, not eating much, running a lot, fighting a lot. It all still seemed so unreal to him. All these things.

All the corpses.

The air smelled like rotten flesh. And the first time they drove past a huge mass of these 'zombies' Keith threw up. The smell and their looks were just horrible. Almost unbearable.

But even worse. Keith never thought he'd miss actual humans. There was no real life anywhere. No people who'd ask for the way to shops. No people who'd accidentally bump into others.

At the same time this was a blessing though. No criminals, no bullies, no drug addicts or rapists. It was quiet most of the time.

But even that could drive someone crazy.

"Keith..." A soft voice ripped the Korean out of his thoughts and made him look up.

He hadn't even noticed that he was staring at his hands like that. They were rough and dirty. Not as smooth as they used to be.

"We're gonna make a stop at the gas station. There's a school nearby. We'll check if theres anything useful, okay?"

Keith nodded a little and leaned back in his seat. The seat still wasn't comfortable but he got used to it. He hated it though.

Takashi on the other side loved this car. He talked about how he got it from his parents for his seventeenth birthday. He was proud of it. And he loved it because it was the only thing he had left.

They went to his house together to get some memory stuff and all, but most of it was broken. Someone must've broken in.

It was sad. Takashi cried. Which was understandable though. He lost all of the stuff he loved and didn't even know where his parents were. But he wouldn't think that they were dead. He told Keith that he knew they were alive and well. He sounded so sure about it. Though, Keith didn't really believe it.

"So, your parents. Where are they?" Takashi asked.

Keith shrugged a little. He still didn't say a word about his situation. "Oh well.. They're probably somewhere safe. Just like your parents." He shrugged a bit.

It didn't sound very believable but as soon as they'd find some big zombie mass he'd say that his parents died or something like that.

"Lets hope they're okay."

That smile. It was almost childish. Takashi seemed a little childish in general when he talked about his parents. His eyes sparkled a little, he smiled and his voice was a little higher.

Keith hummed quietly as he looked at the man for a while before smiling a little. The smile vanished soon though.

"Do you think your girlfriend is safe?" He asked after a few moments of silence.

Takashi let out a laugh.

"Girlfriend? So, you are funny!"

Keith tilted his head to side, giving him a confusing look. "I'm single," Takashi stated.

That was unexpected. Honestly, Takashi probably could've gotten any girl he wanted, whenever he wanted. Instead of asking more questions Keith kept quiet for a while. Soon something came to his mind and he slammed his hand on the dashboard as he sat up. "Weapons!" He yelled, making Takashi jump.

"Weapons?"

"Weapons! We don't have any! We should stop at one of those crazy gun shops or sport shops!"
