Kami's POV

It was great. Everything was getting back to the way things were. Natsu and Gray were fighting, Erza was scolding them, everyone was laughing and talking about the day's battles; it was somewhat normal.

I was constantly being asked about my battle. "Kami-chan, how did you know you could beat him?" Lilith asked me. "Actually, Lil; Kami and Chandler tied today." Delaney corrected her exceed friend.

Lilith rolled her eyes. "Whatever. So Kami-chan?!" Lilith had a look of curiosity and excitement written on her face. While she loved it when she got some action out in the field, she also loved watching us; the Team Storm, fight and win.

I laughed. "I didn't actually know that I could pull that off. But, just as Chandler was about to send me into a world of pain, I embraced the adrenaline and decided 'Aw, to hell with it'." Lilith laughed with me.

Ross rested a hand on my shoulder and squeezed it. I looked behind me to see a satisfied smile on his face as he looked down on me. I smiled back. We didn't need to talk to have a connection.

"I think I'm going to take a walk. I'll see you guys later." I said as I stood and walked out. Delaney immediately challenged Cana to a drinking contest, which Cana accepted. They've been arguing about who was the best drinker in Fairy Tail since forever.

I walked around Crocus and thought about the last image I saw before I blacked out: Lara-Steer's face contorted in a look of disbelief and pure rage. It was priceless.

"Kami!" Someone yelled from behind me. I turned around and saw Sting running towards me. I stopped walking and smiled at him as he ran to me. My smile faded when he reached me and wrapped his arms around me. He was shaking and his breaths were ragged. I knew something was wrong.

"Sting...?" His grip on my waist intensified when I said his name. After a few minutes of holding me, he let go and we sat down on a nearby bench. He looked over me; head to toe, examining each wound that I gained from my fight with Chandler.

"A-are you okay? This was only Chandler right? He didn't hurt you, right?" Sting asked me in a frantic tone. I grabbed his hands and squeezed them. "Sting, what's wrong." I asked him.

He took a deep breath and explained what had happened after he and Rogue lost against Natsu and Gajeel. He told me about how the master had 'killed' Lector and how Minerva had saved him; he told me about killing the master and being made Sabertooth's new master; and he told me about how Minerva would only bring Lector back if Sabertooth won the games. By the time he finished, he had tears rolling down his cheeks.

I kissed him gently and, after we separated, pushed our foreheads together. "He threatened you." Sting said after a bit. "Jiemma...He said that he would come after you next."

"Sting, I'm fine. He didn't come after me." I reassured him. "And I promise you, with every fiber of my being, you will see Lector again. Whether Sabertooth wins or not." I vowed to him. He smiled a little. "Thank you, Kami. C-can you stay with me tonight?" He asked me. "Of course, sweetie." I said.

TIMESKIP

So, that night I stayed with Sting. We both got ready for bed and fell asleep like we did at the end of Day 2. After I was sure that Sting was asleep, I slipped out of his arms and walked out of the room. I needed to find either Minerva or Chandler or both. I needed to try and reason with them.

I looked at each door. Chandler held himself in such high regards that he would have some kind of plaque on his door with his name on it. Eventually I found the door that said:

Chandler Siderosha: S-Class

Wow! S-Class already. I didn't knock. I just opened the door and stepped in. Chandler was doing some pull ups over his bed when I walked in. I saw that on a nearby rocking chair he had a nice, neat outfit set up. For tomorrow.

"498, 499, 500." Chandler said as he pulled himself up and let himself down with ease. He jumped down and stumbled back when he saw me.

"Kami, what the hell are you doing here?" He asked me in surprise. "I came to see you, traitor." I growled softly and walked towards him. I took his hand and interlaced our fingers.

"You know that it's wrong. Don't you? Keeping a comrade hostage, and for what? A silly title? I don't know about you, but that seems stupid to me." I said as my periwinkle eyes met his. I searched them for any emotion at all, but all I found was emptiness.

"Kami," he sat down on the bed and patted a spot next to him. I sat. "Sabertooth doesn't know what comrades are. We value strength and power. As much as I would like to change that, I can't. Sting can."

"What do you mean?" He lowered his head and sighed. "Sting might be able to change us." He said simply. I nodded. I didn't understand what he meant, but I knew better than to question it.

I got up and walked towards the door. I stopped when I opened it just a little bit. "I like the outfit that you picked out. The colors suit you." I said. "Thank you. Good luck tomorrow." He responded. "You too." I said and left.

When I got back to Sting's room, he was sleeping peacefully. As I ran my fingers through his blonde hair, he smiled and hummed contently. I got up, found a piece of paper and a pen, and wrote Sting a note.

Sting,
I'm sorry, but I have to go. I have some things to take care of. I'll see you tomorrow during the games. Good luck and remember that I love you.💕
-Kami Hart

I left the note on the bedside table, kissed Sting's forehead, and flew out the window.

I had to come up my strategy for the last day.
