CYD'S POV

"I thought she-"

"I know but-"

"Why is she-"

"I don't know."

I looked at Daisy and Shelby back and fort.

"What's wrong?"

"Well..." Shelby started then she looked at our supposed to be spot. I looked at where she was looking and found out what they were talking about.

"Oh." I said. "Naldo and Riley. Why are you guys so surprised and nervous?"

They looked at each other.

"Well..." Shelby started. Then it hit me.

"You think I'm jealous?" I said without hesitation. I realized that Daisy already knew about it coz she wasn't that surprised but it was fine with me.

"Ughmm..." Shelby started to think. "Yeah. That's it. Yeah."

She looked like she was hesitating or something. Shelby and Daisy looked at each other.

"Why don't you guys just tell me what's wrong?" I asked with a bit of annoyance.

"Let's just go somewhere else, shall we?" Daisy said, not giving me the answer to my question.

"No!" I said. But I do hope that Naldo and Riley didn't heard me. I looked at them and was relieved to see that they don't seem to hear what I just said. "Tell me, please."

"Cyd, let's just move somewhere else first, okay?" Daisy said. I nodded in response.

We walked a bit farther from where we were earlier and laid our blanket down the grass. Since all that walking and talking made me hungry, I grabbed a burrito from the basket Daisy was holding. I sat down and took a bite from my burrito.

"So," I started. "Are you guys gonna tell me?"

They looked at each other, they seem to agree on something.

"You see," Shelby said. "We were just scared you might get hurt again."

They looked at me with concerned eyes and I figured they were telling the truth.

"We really don't want to see you sad." Daisy said with a sad smile. "We're really sorry."

I smiled at them. "It's okay. I forgive you guys."

Their eyes sparkled and we hugged. They started eating. We talked and laughed a bit. We made a braid train. We read some magazines. We answered some random quizzes from magazines. We laughed again. We talked more. We ate more. We actually finished all the food we brought. And honestly there was a lot. We actually had a blast. But there's this feeling in my gut that they're still not telling everything to me.
