Skye fell asleep in my arms when I tried to get her up. I leaned back on my bed and softly patted her head.
Several hours and an alarm for seven am later, we were in the same position. Only, Skye snuggled closer into me and my hand rested on the scar on her stomach. I just kept coming back to it. It was bizarre and not like any surgery scar I'd seen. Maybe that was just because Skye was bizarre.
She stirred awake and groaned. Looking at me, her eyes widened.
"Where the fuck am I?" She asked, jolting up and looking around the room.
"In my apartment, Skye," I mumbled and sat up. "You fell asleep on me. Like instantly."
She let out a breath and got up. A smile formed on her face and she wrapped her arms around her exposed stomach.
"Were you touching my scar while I slept?"
"No. I was touching your scar while I slept." I smiled. She groaned and walked out of the room. I got up and followed her out.
"You realize your humor isn't needed at seven am," she said, smiling at me. I walked over to the fridge. Remembering that I needed to go shopping, I opened it. Just like I had predicted, it was empty.
"There is always time for humor. Also, get ready to go, as I have to get coffee for everyone and we're going out for breakfast. It's on me." I shut the fridge and walked over to go to my room. Skye cut off my access.
"You are not paying for my breakfast, thank you."
"I'll make you a deal. You can pay for your food if I get the first shower." I smiled.
"Whatever," she groaned and stepped out of the way. "Nerd."
I smiled and stepped past her. She ran down the hall as I grabbed my clothes. The light shone through the shut blinds in my room. Walking over and opening them, I let a wide smile creep onto my face.

Walking out of the bathroom, I heard the obnoxious sound of cutlery on pots coming from my kitchen. I stepped out into the kitchen and Sky had headphones on. She was dancing and hitting two forks against a range of different items. She hadn't noticed me leaning against the wall.
A laptop open and wireless headphones on as she dances and drummed freely around my kitchen in her Pajama's. A soft smile on her face. She looked up and noticed me. The forks dropped from her hands and she pushed her headphones away from her ears. A light blush dusted over her cheeks as she stared wide-eyed at me.
"How long have you been standing there?"
"Long enough to see that." I smiled and walked over to her. "Do you do that often when people aren't around?"
"Yes. I've gotten many a noise complaint. Three am is apparently a bad time for most people," She remarked. I snorted and put my arm on the bench. Skye put her headphones on my head. A generalized melody played with soft vocals, barely audible.
"Is that you singing?" I asked, pulling the earphones away. She bit her lip and looked down. "It's good."
"Yeah. It's just the first draft. My boss wanted more 'pop' stuff from me." She tapped the bench. "So, Ella is helping me write some new music for a possible EP."
"That's pretty cool. You'll have to make the voice louder," I replied. She laughed.
"I'm well aware. Also. I better get in that shower, so we can leave soon." She tapped her fingers on my jaw and ran out the room.
"Stop doing that. It's really weird," I called after her. She laughed and shut the bathroom door, before running out and grabbing her clothes off my couch. "You are the worst."
"Also well aware of that. My brother was making fun of me leaving my keys in your car the whole time I was home. Didn't help that you had posted the photo on your Instagram and I was smiling," she said with a smile. I laughed.
"What was he saying?" I teased. She shoved me.
"He was just joking around. It was nothing much." With a smile on her lips, she walked into the bathroom and locked the door.
I leaned back against the counter.
