Sorry for not updating for a while, I forgot my password. Anyhow, here's chapter 9!
Perrie's POV:
I woke up the next day, still replaying the kiss over and over in my head. Jade was everywhere. Everything reminded me of her. She kissed me. The way she kissed me was so passionate, full of love.
Jade was in my head as I drove up to Dunkin' Donuts for a quick early-morning coffee. "Hello, what can I get you?" the man said. "Hello, may I have a medium Spice Pumpkin Jade - I mean Latte please?" I asked. "Sure thing, drive around," the man said. "Thanks," I said.
As I drove to work, I scrolled down into deleted voicemails. I clicked on Jade's. I had saved it, just never listened to it. Her sweet voice flowed from the phone, filling my car.
Hey Perrie, it's Jade. I'm so sorry that I couldn't tell you this in person, but when I came to find you, you weren't in the dorm. (pause) My family's moving. I won't see you for a while, but it's my hope that we can stay in touch, despite the different time zones. (pause) I don't want to lose you. You're my best friend, Perrie. (pause) I also have to say, that I wanted to be more then friends. I love you, Perrie. More than a friend. Please don't cut off communicating me, because I said this. It would kill me to lose you. Please call me once you get this.
I pulled into work, just as her voicemail ended. If only she had known how I feel, how I still feel! What if she still loves me? I'm pretty sure she does, but there's more then one way to find out. After thinking about my options, I exited the car with a smirk on my face. Let's play a little game, shall we Jade?
Jade's POV:
"Miss Thirlwall," I heard Perrie say. I looked up, and saw her standing in my doorway. "We need to talk," she said, gesturing for me to follow her into her office. Curious, I stood up, and followed her. As I entered her office, I saw Perrie standing facing her large window, looking over New York City.
"Perrie?" I said. She turned around, and gestured for me to stand beside her. I did, and as I looked out her window, I felt a warm body press against my back. I smelled the perfume, and knew it was Perrie. My cheeks grew warm.
"What do you see?" Perrie asked, in a low voice that sent tingles down my spine. "Uh- I-I" I cleared my throat, and started again. "I see people walking, and cars driving," I whispered. "You know what that means?" Perrie said in that same low voice. I was sweating by this time, and probably red as a tomato. "What?" I managed to say.
"That I got to spend more time close to you," Perrie said, and with that, she swiftly pulled away, leaving me flustered. I heard Perrie's heels clicking as I touched a hand to my cheek, and felt it was burning hot. I took a deep breath, schooled my expression, and turned to face Perrie smirking in her chair.
"I need to get back to my office," I said. "Of course Miss Thirlwall," Perrie said, still smirking. As I walked away, I heard Perrie call after me, "On yeah! Miss Thirlwall, don't forget to bring your bags to the front of our bus tomorrow. We leave for our big trip soon!"
At her words, I blushed crimson. I walked back into my office, and sank in my soft chair, my head in my hands. "God, the effect you have on me Perrie," I softly groaned.
Perrie's POV:
Score! Jade was so flustered. I could tell that she thought that I couldn't tell when she turned to face me, but her cheeks were still bright red. I chuckled at the thought. The way she had stiffened after I had reminded her about the trip. I can only imagine her face when I said that, I bet it would have been priceless.
Jade and I have a meeting in a couple minutes. I smirked, ready to continue my game.
Sorry that this chapter was so short! Anyways, hope you enjoyed it!
