We walked out of the hospital and went to the car. I opened the front door for Jin-young and helped him into the seat. My mom started the car and Jackson put the wheelchair in the trunk.
I almost forgot that it was Friday, since I left class with Jackson this morning.
It was really quiet in the car so I tried to brighten up the mood..
"Uhh...Jin-young? Are you hungry? Cuz I sure am" I said with a nervous laugh.
"Yes actually, I'm very hungry" he said with a smile. He turned to my mom, "Mrs. Kim may we go eat?"
"Yea, we can..any suggestions anyone?"
"Ooohh what about Bibimbap??"
"Oh yea..pleasee and some rice cakes" Jackson added.
"Is that ok with you Jin-young?"
"Yea yea sure..." he said with no emotion in his tone.
"Oh Jin-young it'll be fine..your father will be fine, we're all praying that he'll wake up and be just the way he was" my mom said while rubbing his back. She tried to cheer him up, but I feel like it just worsened the situation.
We pulled up to the restaurant and I went out first and headed to the trunk. I unfolded the wheelchair and helped Jin-young out of the car and into the wheelchair. My mom got out of the car and held the restaurant door open and Jackson walked in behind me.
We were quickly seated at a table. I was surprised because it would usually take at least half an hour to be seated. Anyways, I asked Jin-Young if he wanted to remain in the wheelchair or if he wanted to sit in a chair and he wanted to sit in the chair so I helped him with that.
The waitress handed us the menu and asked us if we wanted anything to drink. Everyone asked for water, but I asked for some iced tea. The waitress left to go get us our drinks and we started looking through the menu.
A few minutes passed by, "so have you guys found anything to eat?"My mom asked.
"Uhhh..I'll get Bulgogi with rice," Jackson said.

I quickly skimmed through the menu and said," mmm..I'll get Bibimbap"

"Alrighty, and for you ma'am?" The waitress said with a smile on her face, placing our drinks on the table.
She scared me, haha she just popped out of no where with our drinks. Shoot, I didn't even see her coming around the corner.
"Umm..let me see, I'll get Japchae."

"Great choice! And for you sir?" She said turning to Jin-young.
He turned and looked at me, "what are you looking at me for? She's asking you what you want." I said with a light laugh.
"Ah right, mianhae.."
"Oh no sir, i-it's fine." The waitress said
"Uh , ok then I guess I'll have the same thing as her," he said while pointing at me.
"Ok," the waitress said while writing in her little order pad, "anything else?" she adds.
"Nope, that's all" My mom said while shaking her head.
"Ok then, I'll be out again when your food's ready."
"Thank you." My mom said.
*TIME SKIP*
"Comin' through" the waitress said heading to our table. She handed us our plates. We finished in seconds. Man, I guess we were all hungry.
My mom said that she'll pay and told us to wait in the car.
zzzzttt... my mom got a text. She unlocked her phone and looked at the message. Her eyes widened in shock.
"Mom, what is it?" I asked her.
"Oh, I'll tell you later.." She said and told me to go to the car.
I obeyed my mom and went to the car where Jackson and Jin-young were waiting. I opened the car door only to find them crying in each other's arms.
"Oh what happened?"
They let go of each other and wiped their tears.
"Ha...i-it's nothing" Jackson said.
"Mm..ok then" I knew something wasn't right, but had the feeling that they didn't want to tell me, so I let it be.
I sat in the car and plugged my phone into the aux and started to play "Ko Ko Bop" by Exo.
"Shimmie shimmie ko ko bop, I think I like it..." I sang while we were waiting for my mom.
