On the sea five kilometers, from Paradise Island, clouds converged since dawn, dark and unyielding, smothering the winter sun. The winds howled with a soul quenching screech as if they were a balefull being with deep resents for all those beneath the heavens.

Total darkness prevailed, as the dismal clouds overcast the caliginous sky and the wind arose, causing waves to tower over the sea vessel on the bleak colored ocean. The vessel large and majestic, decorated with golden sigil patrolling the exterior of the vessel, was dwarfed, riding up and down the mighty swelling sea, as the ship jolted to the side then crashed down violently jolting all the crew members onboard ship and in their cabins to wake. The men onboard screamed hysterically as the panicked at the unforeseen situation. many sailors ran out of their cabins barely dressed, exposing their skin to cold winter wind. Upon reaching the deck of the ship many sailors forget to intake air as the became breathless at the site in front of them.

A towering wall made out of water blocked the path ahead eclipsing the sun out of sight enveloping the ship in total darkness. The winds howled balefully as they moved the wall of water towards the ship.

'no' someone screamed hoping for the collision to not occur, but sadly the collision could not be avoided.

With a swash, the towering wall of water fell upon the sea vessel rocking the vessel to the tipping point, but as the boat was about to tip over a golden light was released from the sigils patrolling at the perimeter of the vessel, congealing an oval dome around the deck of the vessel reducing the impact of wave and overturning the boat to the right position, however the wave proved to be too powerful as the light of the golden dome began to lose it luster from the initial attack.

' no the barrier isn't going to last' screamed one of the sailors as he saw the dissipation of light from the golden barrier, allowing small holes ton from where water from the waves spilled in knocking one unlucky soul over the ports side where a small hole in the barrier formed.

'no jake!' screamed a pale-skinned youth with a rugged appearance as his legs laid on the deck not moving from fear staring at the dimming barrier, praying to god in his mind for salvation.

As if God had heard the youth plea, the barrier held until the waves subsided at which the golden dome dissipated into light particles drifting into the bleak sky, into the heavens.

As the aftershock of the wave, attack subsides the sailor gave a cheer in surviving the terrifying waves, but all their cheering was short-lived, as the sailor felt a massive undulation of magic energy converging ahead of the vessel. one hundred meters ahead of the vessel a massive mandala appeared above the surface of the ocean drawing in the magical energy in a massive surge. as the magical energy continued to surge towards the mandala, the body of the water began to rise forming the vague shape of a serpentine monster with eight eyes, which all directed onto the direction in which the vessel was in.

Upon seeing the serpentine creature two sailors with weak will soiled their pants as their legs trembled and collapsed on them self as the sailors fell on their feet, the other sailors paid no heed to the two sailors that soiled the selfs as they thought that it wasn't out of the ordinary for something like this to happen in this situation.

'what should we do I don't want to die' a skinny youth with rugged appearance screamed hysterically as the premonition of death appeared in many, if not all of the sailor's minds as the thought of survival was washed of their minds. as the sailors began to panic a screeching voice with an air of dominance shock the air.

'shut up now!'

with the shout of the all too familiar screeching voice, all the sailors closed their mouths waiting for the owner of the voice to come out.

'secure the sailes and the mast, and prepare for a charge, will be using the secondary burst from the rear cannon and an attack from the black saber formation to pass through this slaughter formation. if your done pissing and shitting your pants get to work, or I'll personally throw you of this vessel. you hear me, get to work!'

The screeching, voice of the man echoed from the darkness of the ship interior, jolting the minds of crewmen, back to the impending situation, as the men quickly moved to their designated station, trying to remedy the situation.

'hurry! secure the mast. The second mast now!' screamed foreman, a man bald as he was tall, towering over his men by six inches or more. His clothes were dull gray colored robe that covered his entire body made finest fabrics money can buy. The foremen quickly gave out commands, with an air of dominance as he turned his back to the men.The foreman ran to the rear side of the ship to the one-meter wide mast, hope to resecure the ropes hoisted onto the mast on the port side of the ship as they become undone as his sensed with his divine sense.

As he ran, to the mast two young sailors came into view, one below the mast supporting a rope, as he fed the rope through his hand, as the other hoisted the undone ropes back onto the mast securing the ropes in place. The foremen, looked at the two sailors with approval as he quicked his pace towards them.

' hey boy, give me the rope' upon reaching the first sailor, the foremen commanded for rope, as he wanted to remedy the current situation before handing out compliments, as grabbed the rope in the sailors outstretched hand, and immediately coiled the rope around the hook embedded into the mast, securing the rope into place.

As the foremen finished, securing the rope into place he finally released some of  his tension, as he thought about how he regretting ever taking this job, but as he's received a large amount of investment and down payment for the job he, must complete the job even though this job may very well cost him his life and that of his crewmen.

'b..b-boss'

As the foreman, was trying to contemplate what to do next, a weak voice echoed his mind as he turned, towards the sailor that was previously holding the rope. As he was in a rush to complete securing the second mast, he didn't take a good look at the sailor, but upon looking at the boy he was left stunned.
