Simons POV
Joshes face softened, his hands spreading out from the fists that they were once clenched into.
"You what?" He whispered. My stomach was burning with passion.
"I said I love you. I'm completely in fucking love with you josh."
The words came out dripping with acid, tear blurring my eyes.
"Why are you crying?" His hands snaked onto my sides, pulling me into his chest.
I broke down, tears falling onto his shirt.
"Because you don't love me? Why would you love me? I made my ex kill himself for god sake!"
This made josh gasp, holding onto me so I was staring into his warm brown eyes.
"Don't you dare say that you hear me. You are not to blame nor are any of us. Simon, god are you blind, because I'm pretty sure I don't fuck someone for the fun of it. I'm pretty sure I fell in love with you months ago. So hear me when I say, dont you dare put yourself down like that." His words stung me, burying themselves deep into my heart.
"Josh you don't mean those things."
He let out a deep sigh before going on another rant.

Josh stood in front of the ragged blonde, his eyes raking over the state of him.
Josh only saw beauty;the same beauty he fell in love with and was prepared to make Simon believe the love.
"When I was with freya, I did love her. But not in a way that many people thought.
We didn't click after a while.
I love her still, I will always love her.
But Simon minter,
You are the one for me.
You make me feel a way that I've never achieved when I was with Freya.
You make my insides turn and every time I look at you I think of a future I didnt know was possible.
Si, you are not foolish for loving me, fore only a couple weeks ago I thought of myself as the fool."
Josh by now was out of breath, his face a harsh pink as Simon stood and listened to him.
The blondes brain was rushing to find an answer, but nothing came up.
Both hearts beat to the same drum as they stared at each other, still in the car park of Tesco's. neither one wanted to make the first move nor say the first sentence after they both explained their feelings.
But finally the timing changed and joshes lips parted once more and broke the silence.
"Do you understand that I fell in love with my best friend? You know, the whole cliche? Well, maybe you don't.
But every time I look at you I fall deeper, like waves crashing against my chest.
I'm drowning now si."
Joshes voice was cracking as he stood in front of the man he loved. Josh stared at Simon, focusing on his eyes once more.
God stole the ocean and placed them in his eyes, but shall I call Simon god for stealing my heart and placing it next to his own?
Simon opened his mouth, only to be met with silence. He didn't know why it surprised him, to know josh felt the same way he did, but it still made his heart leap and try to escape through his chest.
The blonde let him hands circle on joshes wrist, the gesture slowing joshes heart.
"I don't want to be just friends Joshy. I want you as mine."
Josh had never been able to say his heart fluttered before this moment.
But just as the clock hit 6, josh felt the flutter of butterfly wings straying from his stomach and into his beating heart. A heart that beat for Simon minter.
