The Dragon Witch lay alone in the cave, waiting, planning, thinking. All the time, her thoughts on Roman. The entitled Prince who thought it was okay to take all she had ever known, the only one she had ever loved. The Dragon Witch knew magic, magic that he could only dream of - of course, knowing the magic, and having the ability to do the magic were very different things.

Only a matter of time now.

A crystal ball was the only source of soft light in the damp cave, which was hollowed out in the side of a mountain. This permanently rainy and glum setting was where The Prince had trapped the Dragon Witch, once he saved Virgil from her lover's clutches. The Dragon Witch turned to the crystal ball and glanced at whom it was currently showing her. Virgil, sleeping. He looked peaceful. The Dragon Witch was thoughtful as she watched him. Roman was very protective over the anxious side, and it made the Dragon Witch wonder how far The Prince would go to save him.

"Maybe a curse, to make him aware?" She whispered to herself. While Roman had managed to restrict her magic, he could not stop her completely. Something simple would suffice, to raise the panic and alarm, but not cause lasting harm, that's what she would start with. After all, once she used her magic more and more, she would become stronger. And this curse was to target all those around him, so he could watch what his actions have done to his friends. She sighed in frustration. If only she could cause damage, then he could truly feel the pain that she had been forced to bare. Soon she would though, patience was key, and then she would control everything.

Virgil stirred in his sleep, perhaps a bad dream was haunting him, as they usually did? When he woke that would be the least of his worries. The Dragon Witch thought carefully, she needed a spell that would cause some panic, but keep The Prince out of her hair. She smiled once the perfect spell came to her. It seemed so innocent, that Roman would hardly suspect her.

"Novis-tempus puer," she whispered. Dark magic swirled around the sleeping Virgil as he withered up in pain. Delicate tears slipped from his closed eyes, and the transformation started to take hold of him. He curled up in his bed as his eyes fluttered open, and he began to shake. He held his head and cried, probably too afraid to share his pain with the other Sides, not wishing to be bothersome. She relished in his pain, hoping it would hurt more than any could imagine, yet knowing it wouldn't. She thought of Virgil retelling a story of pain to Roman, as he teared up at the thought. The Dragon Witch laughed to herself softly.

All she could do now was sit and watch as everything started to go wrong for the Sides. And while patience was not her strongest point, the thought of the end goal, and revenge for her dead lover kept her striving onwards, hoping to rest her spirit at peace. The Prince could dish out death of love ones, but could he take it in return?

The fun, had truly, just begun.
