"Why can't she go home yet?" I impatiently asked the nurse in a green scrub. She had taken me right outside of Millie's room to talk to me.
"We need her to stay here one more night for, observation. We can let her go in the morning at 10:30 am" she answered looking at Millie through the small window in the door to her room, I looked for a second too, just looking at her innocent face made my heart skip a beat
"I know you want your girlfriend back, and I know it's hard but you can wait a little longer, okay kid?.. I'm sorry" she explained putting her hand on my shoulder, attempting to comforting me.
"She's not my girlfriend" I mumbled still looking at Millie through the corner of my eye, the nurses hand dropped back down to her side.
"Listen, the gal is having a ruff time why don't you bring some of her friends here to cheer her up a little, maybe that'll put some color in those cheeks" she finished smiling wide... too wide I thought.
Not completely understanding what she meant by 'that'll put some color in those cheeks' I let it go "okay I'll have to get them out of classes but, when are good times?" I agreed now giving her my full attention
"Well visiting hours stop at 2 then come back at 4 and go till 6, and it's..." she paused and looked at her silver small watch "11:46, So if you can come back around 1ish that would be great" she said looking back up from her watch
"Mmk" I responded looking back through the small window at Millie "hey, take good care of her" I sighed
"That's what we do here!" She smiled way too cheerfully and opened the door back into Millie's room, I followed her through the door and said goodbye to Millie quickly
then was on my way to gather some friends for the small get together, in the small hospital, located in the small town.

As Finn left my eyelids stared to get heavy again, my eyes fluttering till they fell shut.
I started to dream of beautiful timeless sunsets; the swirls of color. My friends, and fields of flowers. The kinds Sadie and I will run through durning the spring, sometimes accompanied by Sophia, she would always find a good spot to sit and read. We would finally stop the running and sit under a big willow tree we named after Sadie's (now dead) dog 'Max'.
Just laying there, for hours Sadie would sing to me and Soph with her voice that was as soft as silk she made me smile and beam with happiness, sometimes I would dance endlessly to her voice, at some point falling into the flowers without a care in the world
God I am so lucky.
My dreams were interrupted by a hand tapping my shoulder
"Millie? Millie??" I heard a comforting voice say
My eyes fluttered open to see the nurse, Winona.
"Hi darling! Your friends should be here soon, I just thought I should wake you"
I nodded in response, rubbing my eyes
"Winona?" I said trying to get her attention
She hummed as she took a broom out of a small closet and started sweeping, her back was turned to me
