Evan POV

"Are you sure this is gonna work?" I ask Moo, quiet enough so no one can hear. Especially him. "How do we know people are gonna hit on me?"
Brock just sighed, smiling a little. "Don't worry. Remember, when people hit on you, accept it. Especially when he's around." Brock nudged me, glancing over to a certain pig. I gulped and nodded, keeping up with the rest of the group.

Downtown was a big place with a ton of people, and it made me worried. Couldn't we have gone to a mall or something??

We walked until we reached our first destination: Pizza. The man behind the counter greeted us as we piled inside. "Welcome to Píz a Pizza!" I waved slightly, noticing a couple people here and there.

"May I have three cheese?" I ask once everyone else is done ordering. The man nods. "Allow us at least ten minutes! What's your name?"
"Evan Fong." I nodded, walking over to a table with Brock and Brian. Behind us in the other booth was Tyler, Jon, and Luke.
"Evan, look over at that guy." Brock whispered from the other side. "He's been eyeing you."

I looked over to another table, where a guy with two other girls was staring at me. A small smile pulled at my lips, just as Moo wanted me to do. He walked over, catching Tyler's attention. Yes! The guy had a napkin in his hand with some numbers on it. "Call me later, cutie." He then walked out of the restaurant, the two girls following, giggling.

I forced myself not to glance at Tyler; I didn't want him to know that we were planning this.
"Evan Fong?" I perked up at my name, seeing the cashier with a plate. I strolled over, setting a five dollar bill on the counter. On the receipt was another number.

I walked back over to Brock and Brian, sliding my receipt over to them. "I got another number." Moo smirked. "It's working. Ty looks jealous."

We eventually left after finishing. I threw away the numbers, regretting making them feel like that. Of course, I did it while Ty had his back turned. I was hanging out in front of Tyler with Brock and Brian, just chatting about something random. That's when someone knocked into me, both of us falling.
"Ah I'm sorry. I wasn't paying attention," a hand was held out to me. The owner of the hand was a teenage boy, who was slightly blushing. I grabbed his hand, and let him help me up. "I-it's fine, really." I forced myself to blush by thinking about Ty.

He walked away, smiling. I looked back, pretending to watch him, but really I was paying attention to Ty. Moo was right; he looked jealous.

TS: heading home

I sighed, relaxing into the seat of Brock's car. Many people approached me today, and I think that set Tyler over edge. I just hope he knows that I love him.

Eventually, we arrive at Jon's house. We were all staying over for the weekend, just to hang out. That's why Brock told me to do all this stuff, saying this is when either I or Ty confesses. I walked into the basement, wanting to put away this random bag of stuff I bought. The basement was dark, and I didn't bother to turn on the lights. Someone followed me down.

I turned towards the stairs, but instead I was met with another person's face. "Ty?" I asked, backing up as he stepped forward. My back met with a wall, and Ty made leaned against the wall, keeping me there. I could feel my face heating up.

"You made me crazy today," he began, smiling deviously.
"Why-why is that?" I asked nervously, trying to look anywhere but at him. But he forced me to look at him without even physically touching. "All those people flirting with you. I couldn't do anything, either. But now I can." He leaned in closer, our noses touching.

My face was hot. With eagerness, he leaned in. To his surprise, I did the same. Our lips met, and I was smiling internally. This is what I wanted to happen.

How come I can write good romance stories
But in real life I can't even flirt correctly?!
