Aelin Ashryver Galathynius, the lost crown princess of Terrasen, now the Queen of Terrasen. She watched from the shadows as Queen Maeve, the Fae queen move into the throne room of Doranelle.
Queen Maeve had bright violet eyes and dark hair, she wore a pale violet dress with a grey robe. Queen Maeve is Aelin's great grandaunt and Aelin is Queen Maeve' s favourite great grandniece.
Aelin jumped out of the shadows and yelled, "Aunt Maeve!"
The poor queen yelped and fell to the ground. Aelin look at her aunt on the ground and grinned, she offered a hand for her aunt. Her aunt took her hand and she pulled her aunt to her feet. She dusted her grey robes.
Her aunt beamed and hugged her great grandniece, "Aelin! My favourite niece! What are you doing here in Doranelle?"
Aelin chuckled and said,"Aunt Maeve. Who knows after so many years, you still get scared too!"
Aunt Maeve playfully hit Aelin on the shoulder, "Come, have tea with me."
Her aunt led her to the throne and plopped down. Aelin sat on the arm of the throne.
A servant rushed in with a tray of tea. Aelin picked up the teacup and sipped the tea, "My aunt still remembers I like Doranelle midnight berry tea, it seems."
Aunt Maeve giggled and set her teacup down, "What do I owe the visit from my favourite niece?"
"I need your help for something," Aelin replied, biting her lip. "I need help for the upcoming war against Adarlan."
Aunt Maeve blinked once. Twice. Thrice. Then smiled wickedly, "Sure, no problem. I am happy to help. The King of Adarlan is a real pain in my neck."
Aelin hugged her aunt, "Thank you. In return, I got you a little gift." She signalled with a hand and a servant rushed in with a violet wrapped gift box.
She handed it to Aelin and Aelin passed it to her aunt. Her aunt took off the cover and pulled out the glittering robe of violet spidersilk. Spidersilk is softer than silk and stronger than steel, it is impenetrable to arrows and sword, so literally it is unbreakable.
Her aunt gasped and asked, "How do you get this spidersilk?"
Aelin just shrugged and said, "My aunt needs the best and impenetrable cloak there is right?"
Her aunt waved a guard to her and ordered, "Get the faes and demi-faes ready. They will aid Aelin in the war against Adarlan."
The guard bowed and rushed to complete her requests. Aelin stood up and said, "Thank you, Aunt Maeve. I won't forget this. I will win this war. I kill the King."
Her aunt only grinned wickedly and said, "Of course. You Adarlan's assassin, Celaena Sardothien, who is feared by many. Show them who is boss. And try to play with the King. I hate for him to die without putting up a fight."
Aelin gave a mocking bow, "If course, killing him like that will be very boring. I will make sure he will die in a painful death. I will make what I did ten times worst than what he did to my parents years ago."
"Good. Now go, go defeat the King."
