It's the next morning and I am not excited to go back the my home, I might meet with some old acquaintances. Damon slept on the couch since I didn't have a spear bed, I should go wake him up. I walk out into the living room and see he's on the floor, wow. I use my leg to kick him a little and he jolts awake. "Wake up sweaty" I cheer
"Go away" He swats at my leg but I step on his arm, "Ow"
"Get up, we have to go, coffee or orange juice?"
"OJ," He responds
I am pouring him a glass of OJ when my door opens and closes softly. Oh shit, I raise my hand and a screen appears, it's just Rico.
"Rico! Don't just walk in, I could kill you!" I yell and he comes out from around the corner.
"Hey babe" He comes over to the counter and gives me a kiss.
"We aren't dating" I mumble
"Who is this?" Damon asks walking out of the bathroom.
"Hi, I'm Rico, Willow's hook up." Rico complies
"Oh my god Rico, just leave. I won't be back for awhile, just letting you know." I say as I push him towards the door.
"Okay, just text me when you get back." Rico leaves with a wink.
I walk back into the kitchen and Damon just sends me a smirk.
"No need" I wave my hand and his lips are glued shut, he tries to talk but I just laugh.
"Fine" I wave again and he glares at me.
"Are you ready?" He asks
"Yes, and I don't need to pack because I can change with magic, simple." I reply
"Okay then, let's go." He stands up and heads towards the door.
"Do you ever use magic?" I ask
"Yes, but us witches have been on the down low with the new mayor. He isn't very, nice to s witches." Damon shrugs and gets in the car
"This is gonna be a long drive," I say
"No it's not, I can snap my fingers and we will be there." and he does as he says, and here we are home sweet Woods Academy.
I drive the couple blocks to my parent's house and park by the curb. Damon nods to me and I get out, he is staying in the car, giving me some space. They haven't seen me in three years, so I bet they miss me. I walk up the porch steps and before I even knock on the door it opens, I am faced with my mother's loving face.
"Hey mama" I give her a hug as she starts to cry.
"Hey baby, we missed you." She says and we walk into the living room where I grew up.
"Will!" My father yells, he gets up and rushes over to give me a hug. "We missed you kiddo."
"I missed you too guys."
"What brought you back into town?" My mother asks as we sit down.
"I was actually coming for a visit since we haven't talked since our last one, and again I am sorry for that." I look at both of them, smiling faces and tearful eyes.
"No need, as long as we get to see you." My father says
"Where is, um, where is Keith?" I ask
"At her dorm, Woods Academy."
"Okay, well could I come back?" I ask standing up and hugging them one more time.
"Sure thing, be safe." Mother says
I leave the house and get in my car, Damon is gone so I am guessing he transported somewhere. I start up the engine and drive towards Woods Academy.
