Chapter 11

Haruko looks down at Black Rose. “Last words?” He asks her. She is silent. They both sit there in silence. Several moments pass by and Black Rose hasn't said a word. Haruko sighs and summons his scythe “Let's get this over with.” he raises his scythe above her head and in a fraction of a second, it has reached the grounded and passed through Black Rose. “Thank you” she struggles to say as she fades into nothing.There is a loud roar outside, thousands of demons were appearing from portals around the capital running toward them, Haruko walks outside the castle meeting Yue at the gates as she gets ready to create a dome construct out of light. The moment she creates it she realises that she isn't strong enough to cover the whole capital. Her construct was unstable and starts to flicker. She is not powerful enough to let out so much force for so long. She saw Haruko out of the corner of her eye. “Ha-Haruko.. some help?” He walks over to her. “How?” he asks with concern in his voice. “I don't know… I haven't made anything this big. Share your magic with me or something.” Yue said struggling,“G-Get Violet? She should be able to help.” Haruko sighed. “Yue that's your job, not mine. I do not care for these people as you do. I'll go get Violet not the less.” He runs off to get Violet as Yue was left there to hold the barrier. “Hey, Miss highness. Yue needs help with the barrier!” Violet runs back to Yue with Haruko following from behind. “V-Violet, some help with this? Keeping this... barrier up. Please?” Yue struggled to speak. Violet used most of her power in order to create a barrier. Large vines came out of the ground around the capital connected on the top forming a cage-like structure while Yue’s light-structures filled in the gaps. Haruko walks through the people all the way to the edge of the barrier and stood there putting his hand on it. Bringing down the barrier for a few seconds as he walks through to the other side summoning his sword. Haruko turns around to looks at the direction of where Yue is. “Alright, here we go” he says to himself as he chuckles.
